Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Whoever fools you, like me, into believing this pan is cookware, did not use repeatedly or, previous pans were purchased at a grocery store. In which case, Granitestone may be a marginal step up form Grocery ware. I'm going to save you the gory details of the fails of this incredibly thin, cheap blech and sum it up in one "this can't be real" gem. Kept trying to make this work bc my mission for a 12" is failing. Was at the point, I stopped cooking anything of quality for fear of destruction by the pan. The last night before this went back in a box for return, it melted. No, Really. Not figuratively. The side melted from round to flat. That's right. An object made to live on heat, Melted on heat. I've worked in Professional kitchens. To call it "Pro" is a lie. My Chefs would throw this & any person using it out of their kitchen. It's a joke. I like the skillet but it does have this problem - it easily dents. The first one I got was dented on arrival. It must have happened in shipping. The dent was about 5-6 inches straight - laying aside a ruler across the rim. I ordered a replacement skillet. It was a little bit “out of round” but you can’t tell it unless you really stare at the skillet’s rim. It had been very well packed for shipping. Overall, it is perfect for searing or frying large batches. It has done well in the dishwasher, too. No scratching has occurred but I have used silicon utensils on it. I had bought a set of Granitestone Pro set of pots and pans recently. There are all thicker than the skillet. However, if this skillet were as thick as the cookware it would be extremely heavy and potentially difficult to handle. It sounds counterintuitive to be happy with a product like this. Bought this expressly to use in the oven. Because the wording in the description says it can be used in the oven. Just received it—package states “do not use in oven as oven handle is not oven safe”.

Ihave been using this for 10 months now. I cook a lot. I don't like cleaning up afterwards. This is the first pan that actually is easy to clean. Nothing sticks to the inside of the pan. Even cooked on cheese just wipes off. I love how big it is. I highly recommend this pan.

I just got this pan. Never had the granite stone before and so far so good. It’s huge so you need a large gas ring but can cook at least 12 chicken thighs or drumsticks in one shot. Easy to clean.

After I was done cooking, I tried to pick up the pan and the handle broke in two. For as big of a pan as it is, it should have a sturdier handle. - first time using it too.
