I ordered this pan for its size. I wanted to be able to cook eight large chicken thighs in one pan with a lid. I’ve used it at least every other day since it arrived weeks ago. It’s very non-stick but can still brown my food. It cleans easily. It does have one dark circle that formed the first time I used it on high heat, but that doesn’t affect the functionality. These pans are so pretty, that I almost don’t want to use them. They came in a large box and packed well with cardboard in between each pot and pan so there were no blemishes. I used the round and square pan immediately to make rice crispy treats and didn’t even need to spray the bottom with oil There was no sticking. However, I did easily scrape the bottom of the pan because started using a butter knife to cut them. The description states: “METAL UTENSIL SAFE: The coating of the pan is infused with diamonds, the strongest material on earth which makes it durable enough to withstand metal utensils, spatulas, spoons, whisks, and even electric beaters while delivering years of outstanding, nonstick use.” Don’t believe this! I barely pushed the butter knife to the bottom and ended up with a scrape - see picture” So, I will be very careful to only use plastic or silicone utensils with these pans. This package included 15 piece set - including bakeware. The bakeware is super sturdy and thick and has that non-stick coating. It is better than any bakeware I have ever owned, The cookware is just beautiful with the cream color and hammered design. It doesn’t seem as sturdy as my old cookware, however, I have had the old pots for a very long time and I am hoping that with the newer technology of the steel, maybe they will hold up just as well. ... show more

They tout even heat, but not possible with such small coverage on bottom. Don't know if manufacturing mistake, or their idea of heating. In other words NOT GOOD FOR INDUCTION STOVES. The induction metal area only covers 2/3 of pan bottom. Otherwise good pan. (Too bad, had to return. Next time test the design before marketing! Ruined a good concept, who then is going to trust GothemSteel. Not induction stove users - the latest in stoves). ... show more

This is an awesome set of cookware at a very reasonable price. I was looking to upgrade from my tired stainless steel and Vision cookware. This 15 piece set arrived safe and sound, but the weight of the box told me that this was some serious cookware! Everything was safely wrapped in clear plastic, then packed with care using lots of cardboard spacers to make sure nothing was damaged in shipment. The fit and finish is top notch and the cream color gives the set a high-end look. I quickly washed a few pieces and then tried out the small pan to make scrambled eggs - they cooked evenly and cleanup was a breeze. I know that "Gotham Steel allows for use with metal utensils", but I've learned that it's best to use only silicone to avoid scratching (your cookware will thank you). Also, it was nice to find a set like this with 15 usable pieces! ... show more
