I have never tried Dansko before and I saw these and most of the reviews were good. I tried them. The fit was great. The footbed had plenty of arch support. The color was pretty, and they were fun to wear. The only con with these is the plastic straps that kept rubbing my little pinky toe on the right foot and the big toe on my left foot. It got to the point they were so painful to wear I had to send them back It is a shame since the footbed is great for flat feet. On the search goes...

Like all Dansko shoes, these run a bit small. The adjustable buckles accommodate my wider foot. They offer good arch support and are comfortable. I bought them for using them by the pool since they are synthetic. They are comfortable and stish for wear with any outfit. I even use them as summer slippers for the arch support. On sale, a bargain. Kind of expensive otherwise.

I purchased this sandal because they were the same height and nearly identical to an older sandal I own. The older sandal I own is identical to the Sophie sandal, except the height on the Sophie sandal is 1/2" higher and was less comfortable for me suffering from plantar fasciitis. Their straps were made of nubuck and were comfortable right out of the box. I own three pairs - black and two beige nubuck. I am still wearing my original beige nubuck for nearly 10-12 years and they look like brand new - even the sole! Please, Dansko, don't cheapen your products by downgrading materials used. Customers are willing to pay more for a better product. Or, offer both if you can. Love, love, love my old ones and I can't even count the number of people come up to me and ask where they can get them !! Believe me, you would have customers standing in line for my old sandals. Wish I could remember their name, but it has been over a decade.

I mainly wear Danskos (or athletic shoes) since a department store shoe saleslady told me she only wears Danskos. They have a good arch support and a firm enough sole to provide the proper support my feet need bc I developed foot issues from wearing high heels for too many years. These are the only house sandals I wear. They’re adjustable and easy to slip on and off. I can wear them to run an errand, and someone at the store said she loved them! (I was wearing a white pair.) I keep a pair by all 3 doors, and a few more pairs to wear around the house. I like the blue color and the black color the best bc the sole seems firmer than the “pool floatie” style. I only bought that style bc they were on sale, but I think they are made with a lighter, less firm sole material so they’ll float.

I have an embarrassing number of shoes, and most of them are Dansko. Even with all those choices, these are the shoes I wear. I put them on in the morning and wear them all day unless I have to change for some reason. They are the best sandals ever!
