It may be that the pot needs to be re-seasoned more often but I have found that one batch of rice that I made that was, shall we say, overcooked has led to subsequent batches of anything that I cook therein to also stick and be more difficult to clean. I thought it was because I was being so brazen as to not use any cooking oil when I cooked but alas, even with sufficient lubrication, my meals are sticking to what should be a non-stick and well-seasoned surface. More investigation is called for to be sure but I would not think that given the short time that I've owned this item and the relatively limited amount of times that I've used it that it would already be time to re-season the pot. Then again, it has been a while since I've read the directions. Hmmm.. 4 stars for certain. 5 if this sticky situation is user-error as it may indeed be. ... show more

I have this brand in a full set of cookware but had a stupid moment and ruined this size of my pans. Was SO glad to find it on Amazon for a good price to boot! If you haven't tried Gotham Steel cookware I urge you to at least try this pan~ you'll thank me!!
