They can be dressed up and sported down. Roomy for thicker socks but still very comfortable with thinner dress hosiery’s. Not to shiny ,it has a very nice shine and sturdy heel. These are gorgeous ankle boots and go with anything. My only complaint is that the toe box on wide width is still pretty narrow. I had to return them so you might want to size up if you need wide width.
