Features

  • Item No. H30-RS1, comes with 1-PC 220-240V/50-60Hz, 3000W, hot tub thermostat, 2-PCS tube connectors (The tube is not included, you need to prepare an extra 1.5 hoses), suitable for a bathub with 340 gallons, up to 600 gallons.
  • Make sure the direction of the water flow is correct, otherwise it will not work. Minimum working pressure 0.035MPa. we recommended to use at least 0.25HP/200W (1500GPH) pump to work well. The required heating time varies according to the environment and water temperature, so it is recommended to fill the bathtub with hot water instead of cold water to reduce the heating time(better with an insulation cover).
  • By adjusting the temperature button, the thermostat can keep the water temperature between 0C and 45C (32oF~113oF), this thermostat turns on and off automatically according to the temperature you set. If temperature exceed 60C(139oF), reset button will flick out and cut off the power, needing manual reset.
  • Very cost effective solution:If you want an easy and affordable thermostat for your Jacuzzi tub or even if you want to make your own. As long as you follow instructions this is a 1-hour maximum install.

  • stllstock tank hot tub
The media could not be loaded. installed this with a 240 plug yes I am aware that hot tubs should be 104 degrees max but with a 330 gallon tank the water needs to be hotter than the water in the tub to keep it up to temp

  • Dangerous
This product electrified the pool. At first it was fine but after a few days during routine pool cleaning we were zapped while touching the pole. After sticking a meter in the water it was determined that 34v was being pushed into the pool. Shutting down the circuit for the heater showed no remaining voltage in the pool. The electrician confirmed it was wired properly into the water tight box and at the panel. ... show more

  • I have not had a chance to install this yet, but am anxious to extend my pool's activity time
I live in the south so my above ground pool is good for a decent amount of the late spring/summer/early fall time, but with adding a heater I should be able to expand the time at both ends of spring and fall. I have added a canvas, sort of tent-like area on the pool deck so that in a chillier day, getting out of the heated pool, we can get into a protected area (where I also have a propane heater set up) and be able to dry off without getting chilled in the process. When I can afford to, I would like to add an actual cover and with this heater, make the pool a year-round thing, but that's for another year. Looking at the Intex filtration/pump system, all I need do with this heater is add it to the output side of the system to heat the water. I will have a friend of mine help me when he is able to stop by - just to make sure I add it correctly. Will be great to have a heated pool for a few extra weeks this fall! ... show more

  • Wiring label is misprinted.
This heater runs on 220. L1 and L2 and ground. No neutral. The reviewer that says it only runs at 6amps is only using 120. The label mistakingly calls L2 the neutral. This heater has both a thermostat and flow switch. It only turns on when your water is flowing. It doesn't turn on when my water level is too low and the pump is taking on air. It doesn't get as hot as fast as I would prefer but it does work. There are no lights or any way to see if it is on. I used an ammeter to test it, but you can feel the water coming out is a few degrees warmer. ... show more

  • Rusted
With in 60 days, the Temperature Sensor and Heating Coils RUSTED. 240 volt potential electrical shock hazard in a pool where your kids play. Nothing says summer fun quite like potential electrocuting your children and their friends. Happen upon the issue prior to any harm.

  • Seems Good
I bought this for our hot tub but before it arrived a tree fell through our hot tub. It looks like it is well made but I did not get to use it. 5 STARS

  • This heater made my whirlpool tub all the more enjoyable
My whirlpool tub was installed many years ago and I love it. My only complaint was that the water cooled off too much before I was ready to get out. And I procrastinated on getting a heater to fix that. So when I was offered this tub heater to review, it was a no-brainer. I was able to install this to my tub with no fuss. Installation, for me, was very straight forward. It fit my tub without need for any adapters. This heater now lets me enjoy my tub longer at a temperature that is comfortable the entire time. I absolutely recommend this heater. ... show more
