The Winter Cover Seal is a simple solution to wind getting under your winter cover and causing damage and premature wear and tear. Winter Cover Seal is a unique blend of tough poly blend film that wraps around your pool to seal out winter gusts. The secret to Cover Seal is a special blend of resins that enables this unique material to stretch and hold tightly over a long period of time, even during extreme cold weather. Cover Seal is also packed with U.V. inhibitors so that the sun will not weaken it. Since Winter Cover Seal creates an airtight seal, your pool water will be crystal clear next spring, and you can expect a longer life from your winter cover. One box of Cover Seal will wrap around a 24 ft round above-ground pool six times – order 2 boxes for larger pools.

    • Cover won’t budge through any type of weather!!
I have problems every year keeping my pool cover on once the wind and rain starts. It never fails, the wind pulls the cover off, no matter how tight the wench and the cover are on, and the cover sinks into the bottom of the pool. This is literally just like plastic wrap but for your pool. I don’t know how much you are supposed to use, I just used the entire roll, which is a lot, and went around the pool until it ran out. It’s been solid as a rock for months now and we have had some pretty crazy windstorms so far. Great product, I’m only bummed it took me so long to find out about it! ... show more

The seal didn't make 7 days on the pool. We didn't cheap out either. We used the entire roll to protect the pool. Living in North Dakota we have plenty of wind. Early this morning the wrap was found completely off of the pool. I hope to add the pictures to the product description yet today, including the weather map for our local area showing wind at 15mph. Yes only 15mph! That is only a breezy day not high winds! We also purchased and installed, by directions, the Dirt Defender 8 year winter cover (review for that to follow). This was not user failure! We not only followed the instructions but went above and beyond. This was installed on a 80 degree day so the wrap went on nicely and was snug. We had faith this would protect our expensive investment in the family pool but came up beyond disappointed. Only rated at 1 star because there isn't an option for anything less. ... show more

    • Ehhh doesn’t hold up to wind
We live in the country in flat land with not many trees so we have more wind at our house than a lot of people who have wind breaks nearby. If you have other buildings or wind breaks around you this might work. It went on well and was on for about a month. But we had a really windy, stormy day and all of it came off. We are going to try clamping some lumber on top of and underneath the railings and see how that does. ... show more

Was so tired of hanging jugs on the pool and it took a toll on my winter cover. This worked awesome this winter. Held up in wisconsin weather. I am definitely using this again next winter. Definitely recommend!

As soon as a strong wind came through our cover was blown off and the wrap was found across our yard. Would not repurchase, ended up using clamps instead

    • U have to wrap all the way to the bottom to keep wind out
The media could not be loaded. The product is great but you will need two rolls it goes around the pool four times but that’s only enough to cover the top half if you want to keep the wind from going into the pool under your cover you have to wrap it all the way to the bottom I’ve wrapped it all the way around and it’s halfway down and the wind still picks up and goes underneath the cover which means you need to go all the way to the bottom overall to great product but be aware you’re gonna have to buy two rolls and actually wrap it to the bottom ... show more
