I bought this heater just to keep my legs warm in my study, and it will actually heat a 15X15 foot room with a sliding glass door and a skylight. I have mixed reviews about this little heater. I bought 2 and placed one in my bedroom and one in the TV room. The one in the bedroom did the job and I set the timer for 1 hour as I went to sleep, it shut off as I set, so awesome for that function. The one I set up in the TV room, the heater actually sits too low to the ground and although it rotates the air is pushed out at foot/leg level. 4 inches from the where the unit touches the ground to where the heating unit output, then approx. 10 inches for the heating element with a total height from handle to floor is 22 inches. I keep my house at 65 degrees and bought this heater so I would only need to warm up the T.V. room and reduce my energy cost. So far the heat output is not sufficient for a big room however I could possibly see it working for someone who keeps their house warm and wants more warmth as one sits on the recliner. Even then you would need to set the heater in the direction of the recliner. I do like the handle that allows the unit to be moved easily. Has a remote control as well. ... show more
