I previously purchased several of the name brand flexible bright green hoses. They are horrible. In 2 years, the outer jacket started releasing this horrible sticky substance that makes the hose totally unusable and you can't remove the sticky substance. I've tried every solvent and soap. The manufacturer of those fancy flexible green hoses says that you shouldn't expose them to the sunlight. What? Their Garden hoses. I'm not using them in my living room. Anyhow after wasting all that money on those flexible green name brand hoses I bought these. I like them much much better. They hold up much better and are slightly more rigid so they don't kink as much. They are lightweight. Time will tell if the sun hurts them. I did put a cover over the one hose reel that was exposed to Sun most of the day just to make sure. Stay away from bright green flexible hoses.

No hose is kink free but this one is the best I have used . We have a large farm and are very hard on hoses. This is pretty thin which makes it malleable and easy to move/roll. When a kink forms it is easy to remove quickly. Fitting are solid too.

Very good quality female to female extension hose for hose reel. By design the hose is connected to either female ends that are secured by tightening for compression. If either female end becomes loose from the extension hose, the hose will disconnect from the female end when the water pressure increases when the garden hose is capped off. It is an easy fix by reinserting the hose into the female end and adding compression by hand tightening.
