I use this hose to create a makeshift water faucet in my backyard. This hose provides great pressure to the other hose that I have connected to the water hose splitter. I like that the colors are bright which makes it stand out so no one will trip over it since it runs across a small area of my back concrete patio. The hose seems very well made and hopefully will fit my needs for the foreseeable future.

This is a very good hose if you don’t use your hose often. It’s light duty. The end fittings are fine. The included nozzle is okay, but like the hose, it’s light duty. If you intend to put this on a hose reel I suggest finding a regular hose. This expandable hoses don’t work well on a reel. Otherwise if you need a hose you can easily move around, this is perfect. The outer hose material is actually very durable. The brass ends seem more than adequate. Overall I like this hose. I would recommend it to a friend and I would buy it again. Note: I received this product free as part of Amazon's Vine program. I’m expected to give an honest, unbiased, review. I can not return the item. I'm Issued IRS form 10099-NEC. I’m required to claim the value of the product as income. My rating system: 5 stars..... Excellent 4 stars..... Better than average. 3 stars..... Average 2 stars..... Disappointing 1 star ..... I need maximum of 30 ft, but this 50 ft garden hose is actually lighter in weight than my old bulky 25 ft garden hose. I also like the included spray with fireman style's on/off water volume controller.

I fully expected this to be a 4-star hose at best, but it has exceeded my expectations, so far. It’s light weight, has basically the same footprint as my 25’ traditional hose, and has decent pressure. I was worried it would supply less water due to the slightly smaller diameter, but it actually outperformed it in the jet mode. It’s not perfect though, and it’s hanging on to the 5th star by a thread. Why? Calling it an expandable hose is stretching the truth, it barely expands/retracts. Secondly, it kinked like crazy when I first unrolled it and hooked it up to the spigot. It seems OK now, but we’ll see how it holds up over the next few uses. The sprayer also feels fairly cheap, but it works fine and was more of a bonus item anyways. At the end of the day, it works better than my existing hose but is a bit high priced (at full retail) compared to current prices of other similar brands. I will update my review if anything changes.

I've had really mixed experiences with Giraffe products and this is in the lower tier. It's an ok hose for a small garden at a condo or some such but beyond that I would spend more for something higher quality. It kinked for me frequently and the build quality just isn't there. The sprayer nozzle especially seems like it will fall apart within the first year. I say spend a little more for a better product.

This is a really nice hose with a bonus garden nozzle. My daughters live about 30 minutes away to attend work and college. They have a really nice townhouse but do not have a hose to wash out their garage, vehicles or to water plants. This fit the bill as I installed it in the back part of the garage and it had plenty of lenght to do all that was needed. The hose is lightweight compared to a standard hose. It is not a flex hose that is going to go back to a very small shape like some you see on TV but it is very flexible. The nozzle works quite well and I told my daughters that I was going to keep it for myself. That didn't go over too well. Of course I told them I was just joking but I think they knew that. I had just purchased a regular type hose from a big name hardware store and I can tell you this one is a lot lighter. And for the price and the nozzle, I am not sure you can beat it from any other store. Really like the hose and my daughters do to.

The hose is lightweight and was easy to use and wind back up. The nozzle / spray head has great pressure on most settings. Its made of plastic with a rubbery, easy to grip feel. Feels like it will hold up well. Its a little chunky but still easy to hold even with my small hands. I like the thumb control because the arthritis in my hands kicks in when I have to squeeze a handle down the whole time I'm using something. Bonus, love the orange & black color scheme!
