The hose kinks more than expected but seems to be getting better during each use. Possibly being wound up in the package is the cause.

I tend to just buy 100" hoses since I use retractable hose reels. I needed a shorter hose for a small area that had it's own spigot and this 25' hose has fit the bill perfectly. It has a great feel and is more heavy duty than other 25' hoses we actually put hands on before ordering this. The heavy duty feel adds a little weight, but it is by no means heavy and is still plenty maneuverable. The hose ends are both ergonomic and nice to use. This hose worked out perfectly for us and if I need another 25' I would definitely consider purchasing it again.

This hose is more lightweight than rubber hoses traditionally are, but it's still heavy compared to plastic or other material types. While the hose can coil easily, it's thick so it doesn't tangle badly nor does it kink up. The material is high quality and durable, so it should last a long time. I really enjoy the swivel handle, it makes it so much easier to use, especially when needing to get multiple angles. It doesn't have the highest pressure of hoses I've used, but it is perfectly suitable for any use that doesn't require high pressure. Decent length, and is a great value for what you get.

I've been using this hose for the past month. I did attach a quick release to the tap connector and attachment side. I've been using this hose exclusively with my pressure washer. It's well built and feels like it will last a long time. The hose isn't the lightest but it also isn't heavy. It is very resistant to kinks. Both ends are reinforced with thick rubber ends. I highly recommend this hose.

Of course, resistance to kinking is a claim most hose manufacturers make, but few non-rubber ones live up to it. This Giraffe Tools 100' hose does. There is apparently no rubber in the material, but it does remain flexible and kink-free down into the 40 degree F temperature range. This one was used on a hose heel because even though it is in fact lightweight (a tad over 13 pounds for 100 feet), the length makes it unwieldy to coil up after use. A bit positive for me was the handgrips, which I found to be very large and comfortable. Most important, both handgrips are mated to the brass fittings and rotatable--no more struggling with a 100' hose trying to flip it around so your pistol grip nozzle is facing upright! One specification that annoys me with many garden hoses on Amazon is unrealistic or not useful ratings on water pressure. It's a pet peeve of mine, but how realistic and useful is "300 PSI" printed on a hose, as another product I recently reviewed had? This hose states "150 PSI working pressure" which seems not not only reassuring, but realistic. The average residential water system delivers no more than 75 PSI of pressure, so this hose is rated at 2x that. Time will tell if the UV resistance of the outer jacket really works, but so far this GIRAFFE TOOLS brand hose is a keeper. While I still prefer rubber hoses for overall flexibility and durability, when it comes to long 100' garden hoses a good hybrid polymer lightweight hose makes a lot of sense--if it doesn't kink! I recommend this one....
