UPDATED REVIEW: The mfg contacted me after my original review regarding kinks. They offered full money back or a replacement hose. I chose to try a new hose and received the replacement today. Excellent service and response. This hose came factory boxed with an obvious point to begin removing the coiled hose. After letting rhe hose heat up in the sun for a couple of hours, it was very simple to work the hose out of the box without kinks this time. Excellent product and assume the first hose was defective. Very pleased with company and product. ORIGINAL REVIEW: WORLD CLASS KINKS. I've never purchased a decent garden hose that had so many annoying kinks RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. After allowing the sun to warm up the unpackaged but unwrapped hose, I began the somewhat tedious chore of "unwinding" the 100' Gorilla Hose. Kinks began showing up within about 8' of the hose. The hose was packaged to be pulled from the center and that's what I did. But the kinks began coming about every 12-18" length for the entire length of the garden hose - save about 5' at the sprayer connection end of the hose. Ridiculous ... I tried all the tricks I've used for kinky hoses before - none worked. I finally managed to get the hose unkinked and am trying to save it by keeping water in it and winding into our garden hose reel. Will see if that helps - but once a hose is kinked, it seems to never go away. Other than that - a very nice hose, medium duty quality but a kinked hose like this is useless. Very disappointed.

This hose worked great to connect my reel box to me water connection on the side of the home. The metal connectors on both sides are strong and durable. The hose feels like it is made of strong material with the hybrid rubber / polymer compound, and so far it hasn't shown any leaks or signs of wear and tear after a week of use. This hose has female connectors on both sides, and although I didn't use this feature, you can apparently cut the hose to the exact needed length and then readjust the end connector for a custom length. The 24 month warranty is also a great feature. The hose is rated for 600 burst psi, which is also ideal for my home since we bypassed the pressure regulator on the connection where this hose is used. Great product and design by Giraffe Tools!

These are lighter weight than your typical hose, don't hold a kink (light weight rubber style hose) and have lasted fine all summer out in our TX blaring sun. Only one down side - the ends don't "turn" so hard to attached without twisting the whole hose. I solved by just using set of quick connect hose ends I had laying around. Not sure if this makes them less likely to leak? But work great otherwise. Very happy and able to get 50ft for good price. Only the Gardner Supply lightweight hoses have them beat, but those are bit pricy.

Very good hose. Using to drain my dehumidifier into the basement drain. Short enough to avoid having to coil up excess. The original tubing that came with the machine corroded and cracked after a few years. This should last thru many dehumidifier replacements. Longer lengths would make really good garden hoses but they would be very heavy. This one is just right for this situation.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this leader hose on Amazon after a long run with my previous leader hose. I hose appeared to be manufactured with durable rubber. The hose was defective from the first moment I connected it. The hose itself, was thin and flimsy. There was a heavy leak coming from the threaded female connector. I promptly contaced Giraffe Tools via email to report the defect. They (Victoria White) responded quickly, however, were unwilling to help. They responded by requesting a video of the defective part and then questions about the size of the threaded male connector on the spigot. I forwarded all of the requested information and a video. After approximately 5 emails clearly showing and describing the defect, Giraffe Tools were unwilling to accept that the product was defective. Use caution if you are considering buying this item. The materials are cheap and very light weight. Update: Giraffe Tools was willing to send me a replacement after further discussion. Another update will be provided if replacement part is also defective.
