This unit charged up totally after I received it. I haven't had the opportunity to use it, but there is a warranty. It is in a nice unit in a zipper container, with a USB type of wires to charge different types of electronics. Always nice and easy to have your own portable battery pack & jump starter not having to rely on jumper cables and having to find someone to help you jump start your car. Lot of jump starters on here being sold are no name brands you never heard of. Genies has been around a long time with automatic garage door openers. So they are very reliable and trustworthy in the products they make. This holds a charge for about 4 months in my truck before having to recharge it. Small enough for storing in your car and not taking up space. And easy enough for anyone to learn how to use it and have it on hand for a car battery emergency or helping out someone who is stranded. ... show more
