No need to have additional wired wall consoles, this wireless wall console push button easily programs just like the Genie garage door opener remotes. Having multiple wireless wall consoles is not an issue! This wireless wall console push button is perfect to add to your side door or additional garage access points with a quick and easy installation. The Genie wireless wall console is equipped with a bright blinking blue LED light that allows you to find your wireless wall console push button in the dark easily. The wireless wall console controls the lights on the garage door opener and the opening/closing of the garage door. It even has a jogger delay. This delay button allows you to have up to thirty extra seconds to delay the closing of the garage door. No need to jump over the garage door safety sensors, just set the time delay close feature for 10, 20, or 30 seconds by pressing the hourglass button on the wireless wall console. The Wireless Wall Console will work with all Genie Intellicode garage door openers manufactured since 2013 (with the exception of these specific models 1022, 1024, 1042, 2022, 2024, 2027, 2042). The Genie wireless wall console is powered by 2 AAA batteries. If the batteries are running low, you will see a blinking red light weeks ahead of time reminding you to change the AAA batteries. Only works on Genie intellicode garage door openers.

Easy to install and program
Review Image by Pastor J
Easy to install and program. I purchased two because we have two separate split garages. My only complaint is that there is no lock/vacation button like the wired unit. However it does have a delay button if you need to exit the garage on foot before it closes. Satisfied with the purchase.

It's great
My old garage door wall remote was getting touchy and closing or opening the door when it wanted to. Not necessarily when I wanted it to but it was as if a poltergeist was inhabiting our wall door opener. So, I decided to order another unit. What's this? A wireless one? Sign me up. This thing was delivered fast and hard...it came in a bag and the product box was mashed up. Delivered with care I guess. I pulled the product out of the mashed up box and it appeared fine. So, I installed it. I used the same screws as the old unit. I connected it to my opener in a flash. I tested it out and it worked as it was supposed to. But wait! There's a delay on it. I didn't dig into all the details but I pushed the 10 second delay button and counted in my head and walked to the garage door. The door went down after 10 seconds giving me more than enough time to go outside and not having to hop over the beam and bonk my noggin. We walk out dog daily and I can see how handy this is going to be. How long will the batteries last? Don't know. If I remember, I will update this review when I replace the. 7/1/24 is the original install date. ... show more

Great range and functionality!
I installed this in my mother-in-law's house right at the back door of the house so that she can open / close the door from inside the house. I installed a Genie belt drive opener for her garage about a year ago and it has worked out very well for her. She had been using one of the included remotes that she kept in the house for this function but that remote was sometimes hard for her to find. Having this mounted to the wall beside the door means that she never has to go hunting for her remote when she is going out or coming home. This device was easy to install and program and it works great even with the distance between the door and her detached garage. ... show more

It works well, but what happened to the Vacation Switch?
This wireless garage door opener control works just about as well as the wired versions, with perhaps just a slight delay in the door opener's response to button pushes. That's to be expected with a wireless connection. The delay is very slight and not a problem in any way, just a little different from my older wired connection. Install was fast and easy, and programming was just like adding another key-ring remote. What I'm a bit disappointed about is that Genie removed the so-called "vacation switch" like my wired control has and in its place there's a time delayed switch. This delays closing or opening the garage door from 10 to 30 seconds, depending how many times you push the delay button. I can understand how this feature could be useful, but for me I would have preferred the vacation switch. Having both switches would be ideal, but that apparently wasn't important enough for Genie to have done that. The control is large enough to have housed the extra switch. I will say the wireless switch is nice looking, with large, easy to push buttons. The door button also has a blue light that flashes every so many seconds so you can find the control in the dark. (It's also supposed to begin flashing red when the batteries get low.) If you don't want to run the wire necessary to have a wired control then this is just about as good and works well. ... show more

Easy to program.
This was the perfect solution to my problem with the garage door opener on the wall. It is wireless and easy to program just like the garage door remote for the car.
