These pants are a bit more expensive than some other brands, but they wear forever! That's important in our family. I have five grandsons, and these pants survive all of them, being handed down again and again. I'd rather spend a little more money to get something that will last like that! We love that the waistbands have buttons and elastic in the inside to tighten them up for a better fit. Three of my grandsons wear slims, but still need their pants snugged up tighter. The other two boys wear regulars, but also with the elastic waist tightened some. I love that the pants sizes seem to fit our boys just right. If he's 7, he'll need a size 7. If he's 4, he'll wear a 4. Makes ordering easy! I love that the fabric is wrinkle resistant. I never iron them. I smooth them out when they come from the dryer and put them straight into the dresser drawer. The knees are reinforced, too. In the past year I've probably washed, dryed and folded forty separate pairs of French Toast uniform pants again and again, and only one pair ever had holes in the knees.
