  • Sturdy, Adjustable Pool Pole That Gets the Job Done
Style Name: Pool Size: 16 Foot
This telescopic pool pole is sturdy, well made, and has been a great addition to my pool maintenance tools. The adjustable length makes it easy to reach the deep end of the pool while still being comfortable to use for everyday cleaning. I also like how easy it is to switch between attachments. The snap-in mechanism securely holds my pool net and brush, making it quick and convenient to change tools without any hassle. The aluminum construction feels durable without being overly heavy, and it has held up well with regular use. Overall, this is a high-quality pool pole at a great price. If you're looking for a reliable, adjustable pole for your pool accessories, this one is an excellent value. ... show more

  • Pricey luxury buy, but the wife loves it
Style Name: Pool Size: 16 Foot
I absolutely hate dealing with the pool. If it were up to me, I’d fill the damn thing with dirt and call it a day. But my wife and daughter love it, which means I end up buying the gear for it. I bought her this telescopic pool pole, and honestly, the price is flat-out insane for a pool pole. It felt like a total luxury splurge. That said, it really is a nice piece of equipment. She uses it all the time and says it’s lightweight, easy for her to maneuver, and the telescopic lock actually works without playing tug-of-war with it. Swapping out the attachments is quick and painless, too. The main reason I bit the bullet on the price was the lifetime warranty. We actually bought a different product from this company a few years back and had to use the warranty when it finally broke. They could not have made the replacement process easier—no hoops to jump through at all. The quality on this pole feels just as heavy-duty, and it’s clear this company actually stands by what they sell. It’s expensive, but if it keeps her happy and keeps me from buying a cheap plastic replacement every single summer, it’s a win. ... show more

  • Top of the line pole!
Style Name: Pool Size: 16 Foot
Wow..what a difference a quality piece of equipment this is. I've own our pool for 30 years and have always bought those cheap poles that last a couple of seasons if you are lucky. This new ProTuff is no joke. Its built like a tank. It's a heavy pole but it balances well. I absolutely love the double button release mechanism just really solid. This pole is expensive but buy once cry once! Now my son doesn't have anymore excuses not to clean the pool because our old poles were so hard to use. ... show more

  • Worth Every Penny
Style Name: Pool Size: 16 Foot
This is by far the best pool pole that I have ever owned. It’s pricey, but it’s solid and so easy to adjust. No more fumbling hoping that I don’t pool the long end out of the small end of the pole to get the deep end clean. I thought it would feel heavy but it doesn’t and it’s very comfortable in my hands. Highly recommend this one. ... show more

  • This pole is strong, durable, & reliable! It still works like new--4 yrs later.
Style Name: Pool Size: 16 Foot
This pole is fantastic. Very sturdy & durable. I've had it 4 yrs and the only thing worn is the black rubber handle at the end. ProTuff sent me a new handle & super glue for free. The only thing with that is to either wear gloves or be careful with super glue spillage. The telescoping mechanism still works perfectly (after 4 yrs)--no corrosion or sticking. My only advise is to pick the length carefully. I have a 15,000 gal pool and bought the 16' pole. I would have been better off with the 12'. I sweep from shallow to deep since that is where the main drains are located. Also the Kreepy Krauly tends to stay in the deep half. Unless you have a large pool (25,000 gals) the 12' probably would suffice and it would be easier to handle. The 16' pole is not too heavy but it's not light or flimsy either. ... show more

  • BEST Pool Pole and BEST WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Style Name: Pool Size: 12 Foot
Is it expensive for a pool pole? Yes. But I was tired of replacing these crappy weak wonky poles. And they are terrible to use. This is the most sturdy and pleasant to use pool pole. It sounds stupid bc its just a pole, but when you have to use it all the time... it makes things easier. And they really do mean the easiest warranty process you'll ever have. A screw eventually came out a few years later and I lost a piece of it.... you literally just contact them and say "I need this" and they say "okay shipped" They even have an option for expedited delivery on your warranty claims, they say it costs them extra so please dont do it unless you need to. But its still no questions asked. Awfully nice of them.... I didnt use it bc, no, I dont need my pool pole that bad (and I could still use it. Just couldnt retract it). To anyone who has a pool: buy this the next time you have to buy one. It absolutely will be the last one you ever buy. ... show more

  • If you need a strong telescoping pole, hit buy now!
Style Name: Pool Size: 16 Foot
I own the ProTuff 16 foot telescoping model. It consists of two aluminium fluted poles. The interior pole is reinforced by the locking mechanism track inlaid through the length of action. The locking collar is a 2 button slide and lock style ring. The outer cover for the locking mechanism is made of a composite or plastic material. The pole seems powder coated, is is fluted for strength and rigidity, also heavier Guage (thicker wall) than most pool poles. The ProTuff is sturdy even if fully extenand the locking Appears to be powder coated. It is a professional level piece of gear. The ROI is good but the price is higher than most or all others I found. But since over the last several year I have gone thru 3 poles that were marketed as strong... wrong...was a closer descriptioion. The ProTuff pole IS the quality that a professional or home user would be looking for when Ll others have failed them.. once a person uses it they are satisfied in the cost. Cost to Benefit breakdown 1. Pole is made of thick Guage aluminum, having 2 x 8 foot sections with the locking collar in the middle connection. It can be heavy and cumbersome to use or some si ce it's heavy on its own not counting any accessories. It has a ne icnce the normal operation does not allow the poles to pull apart. But the height from deck upward can be a pain if working in tight spaces. I only have 2 issues: one is the amount of bow in the pole when under a heavy load. Whe you have a heavier load and the basket is full the pole can flex enough to be noticed. But the llo ing collar should be me of solid and Milled stock like the broom adapter is. The pro tuff pole is for certain the strongest I have had or even seen in 30+ years. It can be a challenge picking out the best for the application and knowing what is best for the money all that other stuff.... This pole is what you need and have been looking for....stop looking. Buy it now and see for yourself... if you are not satisfied by the ProTuff Pole, maybe pool cleaning is not your call in life. :) ... show more

  • Tough but not that tough, not perfect but worth it
Style Name: Pool Size: 16 Foot
If you're reading this, first of all this is the best pool pole out there(I would know I've tried many), if you don't use it a lot(just for your own pool) it will last forever(the warranty is top notch and they will communicate with you promptly) But if you use it a lot like I do it's not perfect but still worth it, with my own personal modifications as to how I use it because I'm rough with it and use it a lot. Tough but not that tough, as you can see I've modified it a bit. The bottom tip has a ball cause I drop it that way a lot, the handle comes off easily after a while and the glue they have in and they send in(if you put a warranty claim for the handle) doesn't really hold. I initially zip tied it cause the rubber part of the handle kept slipping but then the zip ties became a nuisance as it was hurting my grip. So this is my fix for that so far it's been great. The locking mechanism is great, the best out there. But after a couple of drops as you can see the lock button came off, the red part gets lose(find yourself a screwdriver and tighten it before it starts to crack like mine did eventually) but as far as I can tell you only need one button thing to lock and unlock the pole. It's never slip once it's locked in place, so far the lock holes are starting to show signs of wear. The top part(where you put in the net/brush etc.) has cracked so it's a bit lose so that's my fix. It is a bit hefty but I like it that way. I wish I had gotten the 12ft one. If you use this only for your pool I doubt you'll have any of this issues. For me I've been using this close to a year now. And I've used this over a thousand times by now. It's my longest lasting pole. If you use this once a week/month it may outlast your pool. ... show more
