When I first got this grill, the front handle wasn’t threaded on one side so I couldn’t attach it. Although I was initially going to send it back, I put every piece of the grill together and wasn’t looking forward to disassembling it. So I contacted GasOne and they sent me a replacement part. Am so happy I did that, cuz it is the perfect grill for us. It’s made of good quality material, is sturdy and the best feature is the “ash” drawer on the bottom. I just line it with foil and once I’m done grilling, cleanup is a breeze. Also got a grill grate brush, charcoal chimney, recycled olive tree briquettes and natural fire starters (all found on Amazon) so only a small amount of lighter fluid is needed to start. It’s got two air vents (chimney on top and vent on back of grill) and a large surface area to handle grilling food for up 6+ people. ... show more

I had a Weber Smoky Joe 14" charcoal grill that we use when we are camping in our pull behind camper. It was a pretty good grill, but the size and round shape made indirect grilling difficult. I selected this grill because it's grilling surface is much larger and the rectangle shape. I haven't used it yet, but I believe it will work great. The quality of the grill looks good and all the pieces fit together nice and tight. I read some reviews that complained about the assembly instructions, but I found them to be easy enough to follow. Hello grillers, The size and sturdiness of this little guy is great. Just my husband and I using it and it's great for the RV, just put it in the lower bay and off we go, easy to carry and clean with the ash tray underneith it. My talented husband said assembly wasn't bad just take your time ( not sure he used diretions, hard to get a man to do that you know) All in all we like it ... show more

Works great, assembly was not so bad because I like to put things together. The instructions are...non existent, so I would organize your pieces and identify them first to make things go smoothly (pic attached). It took me about 45 mins to put together once I had identified what the pieces were. How does it work as a grill? It works great I was able to grill chicken and adjust the fire via the vent in the back and direct the heat to go up through the chimney. Thermometer works great and the temps reached up to 500 degrees with the lid closed - I definitely used to much charcoal. The ash tray at the bottom is definitely a plus and there enough room to grill enough meat for a weeks meal plan. I wish I could raise / lower the coal tray but I have an idea to use hooks on the side to do this. Definitely worth it at this great price ( < $90), we'll see how well it holds up over time ... show more

    • Poorly constructed
Not for the beginner, typical poorly constructed Chinese mass produced junk. I’ll begin at the assembly, instructions are a picture (not enough detail) the screws and nut arrived in just a random bag ( there are 3 different sizes required to assemble the grill with very little difference in size so it’s not easy separating them) and not a single extra of any of them. If you drop one which you will, you’ll definitely have to locate it. The grill is thin metal that is prone to warping and was upon receiving it. The lid is completely useless except for covering ashes so they don’t scatter. You’re basically grilling on an open flame, the lid of the grill aligns so poorly to the main base that there’s a gap that doesn’t allow it to seal off air. The ‘chimney’ is useless in controlling air flow, hardy any smoke comes out of it because it’s pouring out the gap in the back of the grill. If Ihad it to do over I probably would have went with a Weber table top instead. I consider myself stronger than average when it comes to assembling items and I’ve been grilling and smoking meats for well over 40yrs. ... show more

I travel a lot for work and got this so I dont have to eat out every night. The grill works great, the only issue i have is the screws for the lid fell out and the screws for the legs were coming loose. I got new screws for the lid and put thread lock on them also reinforced the legs with flat straps and more thread lock. No I have zero issues ... show more
