Well engineered unit - assembly was easy, straight forward. Directions good, but included descriptions for other models (there's no "Oil valve" to manually turn on, for example - it's an electronic sensor switch). What it does have is a thermal switch, which I discovered will prevent the machine from starting if you shut it off and leave it in the sun on a hot day (90 degrees +) for a few minutes. If it won't start and it's too hot to brace your hand on the air cleaner or gas tank while pulling the starter rope, move it out of the direct sunlight and let it cool down! Other than that, it starts on one or two pulls. Customer Service response via Amazon's "Problem with order" function (chasing the "wouldn't start" problem) was fast and professional. The linked a video showing how to start the unit (which confirmed I was doing it right). They offered to ship a new unit if the one I had wouldn't start. (Once it cooled down, it was fine). Good engineering extends to the soap function - use the black tip if you want soap, using the other tips prevents the soap from being drawn into the wand and sprayed. Discovered the unit has a tip sensor as well as a temperature sensor - it doesn't like to be tipped while running (to wheel to a different location.. nice feature to cut it off if it tips over.. just a little too sensitive IMHO.. ) The pressure hose is a M22-15mm connector if you want to purchase a short gun, and, the brackets that hold the "Long gun" that comes with the machine is fragile.. if you use a short gun and stow the long gun in the brackets while the unit is running/vibrating, the bracket is likely to break (Mine did..). In summary it's plenty powerful - it will tear up softwood (fir, pine, cedar, etc) easily, and cause surface damage to hard woods (mahogany, Epay, etc.) with the red tip, and the yellow tip if you get within 4-5 inches, and it will cut skin! I live in the pacific northwet, the state plant is mold, and it had been at least 15 years since I dealt with an epay stairs and landing I built in 2003. (Pictures enclosed). The pressure washer with the yellow tip cleaned the fungus, mold, mung and gradoo right off.. Did a great job cleaning the funky fungi stuff off the suburbans parked under the trees all winter too.. Thoroughly pleased with this unit and the vendor.

Great item, worth the price. Keep in mind, these companies build these to be disposable. Depending on where you live in the USA, this item will last two or four years, at most. For the price, it is still worth it.

Very powerful pressure compared to my electric ones. I can feel the pressure pushed my arm backwards. Set up was easy and quick. But I need to buy oil. Good for cleaning dry way, wall, fence..... Down side is too loud and noisy. But it gets the job done.

A good sign of whether or not a washer has enough power is if your hands and arms get tired from holding it. This washer has plenty of power. Be careful not to swipe your foot if you're wearing sandals or chocos....might peel your skin off!

This unit has power to spare. Be careful when using it on surfaces that may be damaged from high pressure water. Follow assembly instructions when adding oil that does not come with unit. Nice large fuel tank.
