This is my favorite thing I purchased in 2022. I researched a long time before getting this. The quality didn’t disappoint. It’s sturdy and the amount of comfort is ridiculous. I can sit, lounge, bounce, swing all in multiple directions. Seriously, my happy place. I even eat lunch from my swing. It can be tricky to get out of and sometimes I am surprised but that’s usually because I forgot to use the handle bar or get out from the bottom. Not close to a dealbreaker for me. I love the hammock lounger concept. I have this on a townhome deck. Because it sometimes brushes up against the rail, I put pool noodles along the back metal pieces. I cover mine and it has no signs of rust for summer season 1. It was accidentally left uncovered in a downpour. I thought my cushion may get spotted stains but it dried beautifully. I’ll have to leave this out over our Midwest winter. I’m considering taking the lounge basket into the garage and covering the base on deck. I have sprayed the bolts with WD40 to prevent rust post assembly, but should have probably sprayed inside the tubes before assembling. Two other hacks: Put something down on the floor if assembling inside. Metal shavings stain carpet. Shampooing got most out. Secondly, consider putting foil on the underside of the umbrella bracket to deflect heat on the plastic piece where all the bars meet and screw in. It gets hot. I like the sun so keeping the umbrella slid down the back pole, because I forget to put it back up, isn’t an issue. I prefer covering it this way. You can cover with the umbrella open but you have to be gentle and depending on the weight of your cover, might bend the wire rods. My cover is lightweight and found I had to usually fix the umbrella ends because they come unhooked. I started sliding the umbrella down by letting the cover stay attached at the Velcro. The entire swing stands outside in all but rainy weather. I’ve had it a few months and no hint of fading although I’d expect that at some point. When storing under the cover or not wanting it to fade, the cushion rolls up. I flip it in half because my cover leaks slightly and a little pool of water goes on the mesh. I just brush it off. I also use a hammock pillow and attached it to the handlebars, as I needed a little more support. I suggest any cushions at all. The back headrest built in really only works when you’re completely upright. I like to work, watch a movie, check email in my chair and found the extra pillow perfect. I highly recommend this. The base is sturdier than the others. I’m not lightweight and the minimum baring weight was questionable on many other chairs. I haven’t worried about the quality even when swinging. I had a minor issue and the reseller responded immediately and also went above and beyond in resolution. ... show more

Okay so mixed review! I got the item with some dents, scrapes and the umbrella canopy thing forget it, it is cheap and has broken three times ! I got this three weeks ago. The box was opened, items previously either used or unwrapped, lots of scratches and one area looked like manufacturer missed , my concern will Be rust and flaking! The item, put together was not hard at all, it will swing when you get in, it’s really nice so far and am enjoying it after making adjustments. Was able to get $75 refund due to damaged item instead of returning, I can live with it! The brand is good quality typically never had issues with, cushion is comfy and color I love! My Rattie loves it too, but it swings on and off and he seems to be okay once in, as for those with mobility issues: Well I have had a whole right side crush injury including serious nerve damage to to my right leg, guess what, I can get in and out of this and I am only 5’4”! So if you want an item that is comfortable , durable, swings some to comfort you, get it! It’s big and I also put this together by myself using creative skills, slide the seat part on top of the box, under the top and then just clamp it, it was simple! I can see no issue with taking this apart for winter storage where as I live in Maine! The good news we have space to put it! ... show more

5 Stars++ Don’t listen to the negative nellies, it’s rusts it’s hard to put together. Those aren’t valid reviews, it’s metal a guess what metal rusts, as far as assembly it took me about 35 minutes. The chair is super comfortable, canopy doesn’t block much sun so move it to the shade. My wife’s complaint is it’s to comfortable and can’t read in it because she may fall asleep.     • Love the chair not the umbrella section
I really wanted to give this chair a higher rating because there is so much to love about it. Delivery was smooth, all parts were included, and the instructions were easy to follow. Assembly was straightforward, and the chair looks fantastic in my space. Most importantly, it's very comfortable and works exactly as I hoped it would. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is the umbrella. After only three days outside with some fairly light wind, one of the umbrella support rods pulled loose. I was able to fix it by removing a screw and reinstalling the rod, but the same thing happened again just two days later. The chair itself has held up great, but the umbrella design seems to be a weak point. I would actually prefer to remove the umbrella altogether, but doing so would require taking the entire chair apart, which isn't practical. Overall, I love the chair and would still recommend it for comfort and appearance. Just don't expect the umbrella to hold up well over time. If I purchased another one, I would leave the umbrella off from the start. ... show more
