The canvas seems to be thick and water resistant. My fire pit stays outside all winter, will see how the canvas protects. Like the adjustable cord to keep the bottom secured.

I bought this cover after extensive research for my new fire pit. For reference, I have a large square propane fire pit. Not only does this fit nice its thicker than ones i've purchased prior. Also, the price was fantastic in comparison, almost 50% cheaper! So far so good and I have a good feeling it'll hold up in the winter.
