THe cover is on my fire pit, looks great and is a perfect fit. However, after 2 yrs. Hot sun in summer and occasional cold weather in the winter canvas gets brittle and has to be replaced.

    • I had one for three years. It developed a small hole, but I still consider it good.

As the title suggests, I owned one of these in the past. I had it for three years, and in that time, it did develop a hole about 3" long. However, I have two fire pit covers, and the other one, a different brand, was a complete mess after three years. So I do consider this to be a good product, and the fact that I bought it again should show that I trust it. I use this to cover a 34" x 34" wood-burning fire pit, not a gas fire pit, as written in the description. It works fine; I don't know what specific features this product that would benefit one fuel source over another. Amazon informed me that they have a new, 2026 "upgraded" version of this product (ASIN: B0GL76TW1S), however this product and the "upgraded" product are made of the same 600D high-density polyester material, so unless the newer one is thicker, I don't see a reason to spend the extra money. At any rate, I find the design on this one more attractive than the newer one, but that's a matter of personal taste, of course. ... show more

Just purchased a 32" fire pit to replace a shallow 32" pit we had for about eight years. Ordered a 32" cover for it, the material was substandard and the fit was too tight to put over the new unit. Ordered this larger fire pit cover, the fit was much better and the material was much heavier. Even had enough room for four Styrofoam corners I used leftover corner packing from the new fire pit. This will work to prevent damage to the new cover, due to the sharp corners on the new fire pit. Over the years I purchased three new canvas covers for the old fire pit, most of the damage was due to sharp corners, causing rips in the canvas. ... show more

It rained for two days right after we covered our patio table but the water beaded up and dried fairly quickly after it stopped raining and it was easy to lift one side of it when it was wet to drain off excess water. The cover is medium weight, easy to toss over the table, has a smooth inner surface (dual layer), and cinches up underneath with ties and toggles to help keep it secure. It will definitely save wear and tear on the table over the winter (we leave our table out since we don't get extreme weather here, just a few days of snow in January). The price was very reasonable (especially compared to the cost of replacing a table due to weather wear) and it seems to be doing the job well. Don't know how long it will last, but at this price, we can afford to replace it every three years or so and it might last longer than three years. ... show more
