The green hinges work fantastic. I had gaps on both the right and left side of my garage door running from top to bottom. Standard big box store replacement garage door hinges will not work to seal gaps. After replacing the old hinges with the new spring-loaded green hinges, the door now presses-up nice-and-snug against the outer seal, and no more gaps, no more rattling when it is windy, and no more snow & rain creeping in thru the sides. And it was very easy to install. Be sure to follow the instructions on their website for getting the correct hinges for your door, and for installation instructions. This product is a very ingenious solution. And very glad it is made right here in the USA in Wisconsin. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it. ... show more

Great product - solid and makes me warm and fuzzy inside that it’s Made in America! Easy install , great directions. Used some white lithium grease on the points they said to lubricate. Paired these with new Penguin Bearings rollers. I had a major gap (about half inch) that these ended up closing all the way for me , with a nice tight seal. Also - a lot quieter than my older ones. My previous hinges were a lot thinner , these are thicker by a lot and also bigger in size , very sturdy pieces. Follow the directions and you won’t have an issue. too early to tell if it will last, but it seems it will and it corrected some the uneven garage door issues, but keep in mind sometimes you need to make adjustments to the rail, installed in 3 door but 1 I had to adjust the rail cause it was too tight to the wall not a big deal but be ready, the quality on these hinges are much more superior than my stock ones I had ... show more

Garage roll-up door rattled with the wind, and every time the man door from the house opened or closed. Not anymore! Gaps are sealed much better, and enough tension to keep strong gusts of wind out. The door is quieter opening and closing as well, but wasn't the reason I bought them. These hinges installed in about 10 minutes. Very nicely made hinges, I liked how they worked very much so ordered another set for my 18 ft. garage door. If they have a long lifetime this will be a great improvement in keeping dust and snow from blowing in around my garage doors.

These were easy to install, once I read the instructions and figured out there was a number stamped on each (1, 2, 3). I had to uninstall the first set to install in order but it was quick and easy. The worst part was the years of lubricant that i had sprayed on the track. I replaced these and the rollers and the garage door is very snug and as of today, which is really windy, there are zero cracks and the door isn't moving. It's a two-car door and solid wood and these brackets hold it quite nicely to the frame where I used to have a ½" to ¾" gap. I added new nylon rollers to the mix and I can't even hear the door while it's in motion unless I'm in the garage. ... show more
