This insulation, while pretty thin, seems to be doing a good job cutting down of the afternoon sun from west facing windows in our garage. It is quite affordable and was very easy to cut & install, and the adhesive dots included with the insulation have been holding up well for weeks - the insulation sheets have not moved or shifted at all. I love this bubble foil for many reasons. One, it is a giant piece that you can cut for whatever shape window. I had two 35" by 35" windows that I put it in behind the blinds. I didn't even attach it, it just fits snug if you measure the exact size of the window opening. I noticed a huge difference overnight in one bedroom that gets the full sun when it sets every day. I'm in Florida and it is super hot. Be careful you will oversleep because it's so dark and cool. I also used the rest of the sheet and a large window. I might buy more to finish covering the bay window. And the price was great. Very easy to cut like wrapping paper. One photo shows it's slightly wrinkled because it's in a closet and I can't reach. But otherwise it is a nice smooth fit.

We have an RV parked in direct sun all day with zero shade. Our kitchen slide is on the sun side. This is an issue with the fridge as the direct sun is making the fridge cooling fan run 24/7. Why? The sun is baking the fridge coils from the freezer vent to the fridge vent outside. So, in an attempt to keep this area and other areas from direct sun, we put this product on the slide outside wall between both vents to protect the coils. (See photo) We have not heard the fan since. We also put this on the sides and roof of kitchen slide. Amazing performance for the rv fridge and freezer. Then we went as far as putting this on the OUTSIDE of the windows that are in direct sunlight. This does reduce our viewing from the inside through those windows but we don’t care. And last - we added 13”x13” squares to 1” foam board with 3M spray glue and wedged the covered foam squares into our skylight openings with the foil side facing up to reflect the sun away from the inside. We will reverse this in the winter to keep heat inside. Having a cooler rv (we have pets), less cooling costs and less repairs is ideal. And we lined our under bed storage with it too. So far when it’s been 80 plus outside we are 74 inside without running the ac! This product is cheaper than the name brands in box stores and you get twice the amount. It’s easy to cut and manage. Comes with little adhesive circles too although we like to use alien tape for more securement to the windows. We will buy more of this exact product in the fall to use on the inside areas and water heater cabinet for the fall winter months.

Good product. Wanted to add a thin layer of thermally-reflective insulation to an attic opening and this bubble insultation product worked perfectly. My attic's opening is a bit wider than the 24" width of this sheet and it was easy to cut the product to create overlapping insultation that I attached to the attic hatch. I used double-sided tape to secure the insulation, but the supplied sticky pads would have worked too. As this is a thin sheet (I was most interested in it's thermal reflective/isolation properties) I then placed some R-19 insultation on top of the bubble insulation sheet.

I used this to cover my sliding patio doors. So much heat has been coming in making it difficult to cool the house. I taped these up with gorilla tape as the stickers provided were not strong enough. This product keeps the heat out no problem. I cut it with scissors to fit.

Ok I stapled this thin junk to my wood hoping to decrease the heat in my Florida room. Lol, for the price I paid,I was really expecting a better product. This is expensive to foil!!!!
