Ignore the false statements about instructions being confusing, or hard to assemble. This can be assembled without instructions it's that simple. Everything is sturdy and built very well, even the included tool is nice quality. Totally worth the money, I am 6'6" 300+lbs and this chair is very comfortable and fits me decently. You can't expect perfect and budget friendly at the same time. But this is pretty close.

If you're not looking to read a full novel, here's a short breakdown: PROS: Very padded. Quite comfy even for long hours. Easy to build Definitely can HOLD up to 400lbs Head pillow is so nice. Neck feels less stiff since the start of use CONS: Not for wide hipped people Terrible on carpet Leg rest is not sturdy - feels as though it's hanging by a thread Full paragraph: Okay- where do I start? The padding on this chair for the butt area is comfy. Much better than my last that's for sure. If you are a bigger person- 300 and up, like myself- it may not be for you.. The leg rest is NOT sturdy. It does not feel like it can hold up my legs up for long periods of time. Not much holds it in place either- literally just one tiny screw. I feel as though that will break eventually. The little back pillow actually is a nice addition but it's not connected so it falls often. The head pillow however is connected and is very comfortable. If you are wider in the hip area, prepare to hear this almost like "omg did I break it" sound the first time you sit in it. Yes this is made to hold up to 400lbs but it's not made for wide people in mind. It also does not move as easily. That could be because of my carpet, or because I'm heavy but I do have to get up if I want to scoot in my chair closer. The laying back adjustment capability is what kind of sold me to this chair when I was searching because you're able to lock in any position, however, it doesn't work as well. Again, this could very well be because I am a bigger wider person but there are times where I want to keep it unlocked so that I can lean back and then sit back up whenever I see fit but I'm assuming because my buttocks is so far back on this chair, the moment I lean back, the chair does not recline back up with me. I'm on my weight loss journey so hopefully I get to experience this chair as a smaller person one day but for no, it's okay, just not as plus size friendly as it seems. Take everything I say with a grain of salt as all our bodies are different!

The padding itself looks nice but the plastic they used on the legs is complete junk looks like there wasn’t enough space for the locks on the legs to fit right I tightened it down and it completely blew out the sides
