The antenna was very easy to install on a F-150 2018. I get a good reception, also getting HD Radio no problem but I do detect a little lost in reception maybe about 2dB. Very nice looking antenna - fit my 2011 f150 perfectly - easy install - quality is good - very happy with appearance - reception is the weak point for this antenna - around the metro area the quality of reception of AM is not good - seems to have a lot of interference and sound quality is poor - compared to the longer, OEM antenna - the reception is not up to expectations - FM is okay but once again the reception is not as good as the longer OEM antenna - it is still a great looking antenna - and a good value for the price - but if we travel out of the metro on road trips we will put the OEM antenna back on for the trip ... show more

Only 1 FM station originally, 13" a bit too short. 17" I now receive over 20 FM stations. Made an outside bracket and ran new antenna into control compartment. Excellent!

    • Avoid at all cost - weak pot metal connection snapped in one day scratching brand new truck
Avoid. The "screw assembly" (sorry, I don't know what to call it) is essentially Chinese pot metal. I did not remove it prior to going into a car wash (sort of the whole point of a small, flexible antenna replacement) and the assembly sheared off, the result is my one week old beautiful black F-150 has a 2" scratch where the bolt broke (sheared off) and the proceeded to scratch my truck - leaving nothing but a nub that will require EZ-Outs to get out. I'm furious. This product is of VERY POOR QUALITY. On top of this, the radio reception was worse than the full size antenna (expected), but also worse than the 7" antenna I'd bought at the same time to try. Don't buy this. It's going to break - there's no way around it. It's poorly made. ... show more

The product came on time and was fairly easy to install. The extra size attachments weren't explained very well but it wasn't too difficult to figure out how the fit together. Overall, the antennae works as promised. I would recommend this to a friend.
