    • Decent Reception of AM stations 50 Miles Away. (Update - 100 Miles Away.)
UPDATE! I tested the new antenna for reception when we were about 100 miles away from the station and it was good. A little static but not enough to make you not listen to the station. Also, I don't notice any wind noise from this attenna. Got this because I hated the OEM antenna. Very prompt delivery. Came with comprehensive instructions and was easy to swap with the OEM antenna. I like the look so much better and the AM reception is decent. And I live 50 miles away from the station I listen to. I don't know if it would hold up in a soft touch car wash but it's easy enough to take off and put back on afterward. ... show more

Only 1 FM station originally, 13" a bit too short. 17" I now receive over 20 FM stations. Made an outside bracket and ran new antenna into control compartment. Excellent!

    • Great antenna, now I can park underground.
The antenna was very easy to install on a F-150 2018. I get a good reception, also getting HD Radio no problem but I do detect a little lost in reception maybe about 2dB. The only thing I would say is the installation is not too secure since we can’t tight the antenna down with a open head bolt key. So I added some blue locktight to help with vibrations. ... show more

Perfect size to fit in my garage door, about 2 inches shorter than the cab of my 2013 f150. We live in a rural area and only one of the 4 rock stations I used to get still come in. I have to drive 5 miles to get the same stations I used to have with my stock antenna. Works great when I am closer to town. OK trade off to not beat the crap out of the garage door when I pull in or out. ... show more

    • Avoid at all cost - weak pot metal connection snapped in one day scratching brand new truck
Avoid. The "screw assembly" (sorry, I don't know what to call it) is essentially Chinese pot metal. I did not remove it prior to going into a car wash (sort of the whole point of a small, flexible antenna replacement) and the assembly sheared off, the result is my one week old beautiful black F-150 has a 2" scratch where the bolt broke (sheared off) and the proceeded to scratch my truck - leaving nothing but a nub that will require EZ-Outs to get out. I'm furious. This product is of VERY POOR QUALITY. On top of this, the radio reception was worse than the full size antenna (expected), but also worse than the 7" antenna I'd bought at the same time to try. Don't buy this. It's going to break - there's no way around it. It's poorly made. ... show more
