Description

Basketball System is an in ground basketball hoop designed for realistic basketball action. Its 12 ga 5"x 5" one piece pole is thicker and far superior in strength to competitors thinner 2-piece post design. Includes a convenient anchor bolt mounting system that makes it easy to level or relocate the basketball goal. Enjoy authentic gymnasium play with a professional quality breakaway rim and 5/16" thick tempered glass backboard that provides true, authentic rebounds. The overhang provides plenty of area for post play. The all-steel actuator allows simple and precise goal adjustments from 7.5 to 10 feet. The unit includes such features as aluminum trim around the backboard, powder coating, and zinc-coated hardware for corrosion resistance. Comes with a lifetime limited warranty. Safety is a must, comes with post pad and pre- installed backboard pad are included!

I don't write many reviews, but this one deserves it. This hoop had crystal clear instructions and was a breeze to set up - my husband was able to do most of it on his own, and only required assistance with putting the backboard up due to the weight. It's incredibly sturdy and overall just a quality product. I'm so happy we went with a bigger backboard too - it looks beautiful on our basketball court. This basketball system has met all of my expectations. It was a great value for the price in that it came with backboard and post pads, which are usually each 3 figure add-ons with comparable systems. I'm extremely happy with it after one month of use. Full disclosure I did order and install a different rim than the one the system came with. There is nothing wrong with the rim the system came with, but I was specifically looking for one that didn't have the hook connections for the net. The feel of the backboard is very sturdy and it's the closest to the feel of a gym backboard that I've had on an outdoor system. We're very happy with this basketball standard. I did a lot of searching and finally opted to go with this one. We just set it up about two weeks ago and the kids have already put it through its paces. I'm not sure if they like playing basketball or raising and lowering the hoop more. It's well built. The hardest part of installation was reaching the bolts while attaching the hoop to the glass and then lifting the backboard up on to the support arms. It's heavy. Would be 5 stars if not for the delivery issues with Estes. My hoop sat in the local terminal for like over 2 weeks before they finally called me to arrange the delivery. Seems to be exactly what we needed. It’s been played with every day for a few weeks now. It was heavy and needs 3-4 adults to put the backboard on.
