    • Great product keep it up Spalding
Color: 54" - H Frame - Black
Review Image by Kerry OCallaghan
First thing to know is that the 2 delivery people did an EXCELLENT job handling it and placing it on our front porch. It’s bulky and heavy and they gently placed it down to not cause any damage, so they should be mentioned and praised for doing a great job. Secondly, all parts were in box which made setup extremely easy. The basketball system setup itself was so simple and my husband and 2 children had it up and ready to play in about 30 min as stated. We all go out and play together and have been since its setup. The Spalding company nailed this one. The quality and stability with the acrylic backboard makes this suitable for kids. The backboard has a perfect solid sound and bounce back. I’m sure this system will last for years and when it does come time for a replacement, it will be @spalding that gets our business. Very happy with it so far. ... show more

    • Great Basketball Hoop, Easy Setup, Slow Height Adjustment
Color: 54" - H Frame - Black
Assembly is super simple and takes less than 30 minutes even assembling on your own, but easier with two people. The only two negatives I can site are: 1. Compared to the setup video some of the pieces look to be a bit cheaper than earlier models with a plastic piece under the rim rather than metal and a few other pieces that aren’t as high quality as the earlier model and 2. The height adjustment with the crank is easy to use and can do any height between 8 and 10 feet, but it is very slow to adjust. Have to crank for about 1-2 minutes straight and wind it a hundred plus times to go from 8 to 10 feet or vice versa. Otherwise is a great basketball hoop. ... show more

    • Great Quality Goal
Color: 54" - H Frame - Black
Review Image by Chris McIntosh
🏀 “Finally… a basketball goal that DOESN’T fold when the wind shows up.” 🏀 I absolutely LOVE this hoop — the Spalding Momentous EZ Assembly Portable Adjustable Outdoor Basketball Hoop is a game changer. My last goal? Completely different story. A strong wind came through, knocked it over, and it was done for. So going into this purchase, durability was my #1 concern. This one delivers. The base is incredibly solid — once you fill it with water, it feels locked in. No wobbling, no worrying every time the weather picks up. It actually gives you confidence that it’s built to last. And the assembly? Legit as advertised. Took a little longer than thirty minutes cause I wasn’t really focusing, but no frustration, no complicated setup — just straightforward and efficient. ✔️ Super sturdy base (huge upgrade from typical hoops) ✔️ Handles wind WAY better than cheaper goals ✔️ Quick and easy assembly ✔️ Adjustable height for all skill levels ✔️ Feels like quality every time you play If you’ve ever had a hoop get wrecked by the wind like I did, you’ll appreciate this one immediately. A caveat is you will need quite a bit of strength to move it if it is filled with water or sand. ... show more

    • Goal great, instructions are sub-standard.
Color: 54" - H Frame - Black
Product is built well, easy to assemble and fun. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. Be sure to leave a lot of space around the goal when assembling. Don’t assemble near a wall or building. Be careful how much water you initially put in as it holds 300 lbs and I found out the hard way that leverage only gets you so far. After placement then fill all the way up. Stability is good and height adjustment is easy. Instructions are poor and there is no way to drain the water so you can siphon or you can use one of the small vertical pumps sold on Amazon (battery operated portable pumps) approximately $18. ... show more

So far so good. Crank to lift or lower hoop is easy and seems well made.

    • Easy assembly and built tough
Color: 54" - H Frame - Black
Looks great. It comes partiall assembled and the rest goes to easily. Had it completed and fill with water and non freezing gel additive within 1 hour. To be safe from another wind storm we installed 4 - 24" auger bits from Amazon next to the base and connected each end of the auger bits to one of the Rhino wratchet strap (also from Amazon) ends. This secured the base that no wind should blow it over. ... show more

Considering I will need to refdrill one of the first 4 holes that I need to use to connect the arm, I am royally pissed. Spalding has really done messed up this one for sure
