I installed this with 1 other adult with no issues. The hoop is really well designed and very easy to assemble. The quality so far seems great. It is very easy to adjust the height (my 10 year old can easily do it). It is nice that it comes with the pole pad and also comes with a small lock to lock the height. If you are looking for a hoop with a good design and that will hopefully hold up to the elements (aluminum and stainless) then I would recommend this one. The only improvements I would suggest are to the base bolts (that go in the concrete). I struggled to keep them straight when putting them in the concrete. I also messed up the threads by using a hammer. It would be great if they came with a plastic cap to protect the threads. Good news is th me threads were easy to fix with a file and there is plenty of play in the mounting bracket of the bolts aren’t perfectly straight. ... show more

Everything I had hoped for in my purchase. Extremely well built basketball goal. Was very impressed with the shipping container. Only set back was one of the worst shipping companies I have ever had to suffer through or work with. Driver was well mannered and very hospitable and was ashamed because he knew about that shipping company’s work ethics. He responded how they maximize the bottom line, so to speak. My delivery was 4 days later than expected, it had shipped from Utah to NC in 4 days. Then 1 day to be shipped an hour and a half from my home. It then sit at that hub for 14 days before they finally delivered my product. I want be shipping anything Estes Express. Bank on it! ... show more

I have had several, expensive in-ground and portable basketball goals over the past 10 years. Living in Florida, corrosion is a concern. The Dominator basketball goal is all aluminum with stainless steel hardware. It is clear that the designers of this goal took no shortcuts and made the perfect driveway basketball goal that will last for years. I put this hoop on my indoor facility and it’s awesome. The kids love it and I’m using it everyday! The ease of raising it and lowering it as well as the technology of when doing that it stays in the same spot and doesn’t adjust the court is smacking and the first of its kind. That is the main reason I went with this hoop and glad I did. Will be buying another one likely come spring for the outside… ... show more

Super System! I wouldnt say it was a breeze to put up but once the concrete is done with the base - it took about an hour or two which is must better than other stories I have heard for other hoops. You must have at least two people. The big issue now - as you can mainly see from the picture - is finding a yard guard net so we aren't constantly chasing the ball! The manufacturer was super helpful but did not know of any that are compatible. As much as I like this hoop - If you will need a yard guard I would buy a different set up from another manufacturer and I am disappointed they dont offer one. ... show more
