    • Great upgrade and super easy install
I purchased this G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 64GB kit as part of a system upgrade and immediately noticed a difference. Installation was very easy. I just had to insert the two sticks into the motherboard, enable XMP in the BIOS, and it worked flawlessly. The performance difference is also very noticeable, especially in games. I play a lot of World of Warcraft, and the loading times are faster, and everything just seems to run smoother when there’s a lot going on in the game world. I also have a lot of things open while playing games, and it’s nice to have the extra memory make multitasking very easy. The memory itself is also very attractive. It’s nice and clean in terms of RGB lighting. It also worked very well with the rest of my system lighting. This is a very solid memory kit and exactly what I was hoping for. If you are in the market for a high-capacity memory kit that is very easy to install, then I would definitely suggest this one. ... show more

    • Amazing RAM & Customer Service
Review Image by DJ

I purchased the 64GB (2x32 GB) DDR4 3600 CL 18 about 2-3 weeks ago to upgrade from a set of 32GB (2x16 GB) DDR4 4000 CL 18 and so far, the new RAM has been performing exceptionally. In my previous configuration, my PC was hitting a bottleneck due to the limited amount of memory available. During gaming sessions, the graphics would stutter and freeze—this went on for a year before I decided enough was enough and pulled the trigger for more RAM. I did some research to see what was on the market before deciding to purchase the G.SKILL Trident Z RGB Series again. My previous sticks were from the same series but after a year of use, they started to cause my PC to BSOD multiple times. I filed a warranty claim with G.SKILL and completed the RMA request through their exceptional customer service. The memory sticks are covered by a limited lifetime warranty and G.SKILL honored it without asking excessive questions unlike many other companies. The new sticks I received continued to work fine until I decided to upgrade with my current purchase. So far, I haven't noticed any issues with the new RAM. My games and other daily tasks are operating noticeably smoother with lower latency and the stutters/frame freezes completely disappearing. As far as the RGB goes, I usually keep it white through G.SKILL's lighting control software. The LED's stay reliably lit and I haven't noticed any discoloration over time with any of the RAM from G.SKILL. I've attached some images of how they look within my setup to this review as well. Considering the amount of frustration I felt before, I can say with confidence that this RAM was money well spent. ... show more

    • Fantasic upgrade from 4x8gb (32gb)

I was previously using 2 identical kits of tridentz 2x8gb 3200 CL16 and had to do a decent amount of tweaking to the settings. I'll explain why i had too, it's worth reading if you have a ZEN 3 processor or lower and plan on getting 2 kits of anything. My specs: 5950x 3070 MSI SUPRIM LHR 64gb (2x32gb 3600 cl18) Zen 3 Ryzen processors don't handle quad memory layouts really well at all unless you mess with the timings manually but most people aren't that tech savvy to fiddle with complex settings. Normally 8gb (less often) and16gb (almost all the time) memory sticks are dual ranked and normally 2 sticks of dual ranked memory will set the cpu into dual channel mode. Set in 4 sticks and (not sure about other platforms) ryzen zen 3 cpus will go into quad channel mode. You won't be able to run at speeds advertised for quick profiles like xmp. With all that out the way, lets talk about the memory sticks i got. Packaging is great and the build quality superb like always with tridentz products. Games are running faster now since i can operate at the rated profile XMP overclock profiles for 3600MT. I can finally run cities skylines with mods decently fine now and also transport fever 2. If you do plan on picking up 2 separate kits, i really can't state this enough.... please just get 1 kit of something. It'll save you the hassle of falling into the dark void o' memory related issues. There's way to much factors that cutting cost on memory kits will adversely hurt your system and cause a headache for you (especially if you don't know computer parts much) 10/10 works as intended ... show more

    • AI needs to die
Got this just before the prices went stupid. Honestly it was a great product and I am happy with it. But I don't know if I would pay the inflated price to get another set. Happy to wait until AI bubble pops and we get access to ram again at a reasonable rate.

    • Price is perfect, performance rivals Corsair!
Gskll is right next to Corsair in memory. The trident z pro memory is top notch and runs cool like Corsair Vengeance LPX memory. The price for 64gigs was a steal in my opinion but the RGB series does have a nice aesthetic look considering blending with other RGB components in your PC. I’m 100% pleased with the performance and the price is unbeatable! ... show more
