  • Amazing graphics card
Long over due review, The MSI RTX 4090 Gaming Trio is an absolute powerhouse. It runs everything I throw at it 4K gaming, video editing, AI tools without breaking a sweat. The card stays cool and quiet even during heavy loads, which really shows off MSI’s great cooling design. The RGB lighting is tasteful, not overdone, and it’s built like a tank but still sleek enough to look great in a case window. Performance-wise, it’s on another level games look smoother, load faster, and the frame rates are insane. It’s expensive, but if you want top-tier performance that’ll last for years, this card is worth every dollar.I love msi cards will be getting the 5090 brand. 😂😂 ... show more

  • Amazing
This Card is a monster. Size wise and Performance wise. I upgraded from a RTX 3080 to this 4090 animal. It comes with a Card holder for horizontal mounting. Mine is mounted in a Segotep Case that has Vertical mounting. Card also comes with a dedicated 16 Pin Power adapter that requires 3 dedicated VGA 4 Pins, so it is best if you have a modular PSU that can provide enough VGA wires. This Card is huge. In my pictures you can see my 3080 vs the 4090 mounted. Performance is incredible. I edit with Davinci Resolve and always had issues when trying to Superscale footage. This 4090 Easily superscaled a 4k 3 minute clip into a 8k clip within 17 minutes in h.265 I have no issues noise wise. Not sure why people talk about Coil wine. It's a nice design and looks amazing as well and matches my setup. There is also a "White Version" available to match different style Mod Build Rigs. Shipping was 3 days to Hawaii in Original Sealed Box. No issues. Downloaded newest Driver prior to install and the swapped Cards. Total installation time was maybe 15 minutes. I run 4 Screens with it and my 4k Screens are super happy. I get 120 fps on Highest settings in 4k on APEX and even 80 to 100 in BF2042 . It's expensive but if you want the best performance to compliment your build THIS is the Card to go with. ... show more

  • Absolute beast and a awesome overclocker
Went from my evga 3080ti ftw3 to this msi trio 4090 and what a huge jump in fps in the resolution I game at 3440x1440p. It’s an awesome card that runs so stupid cool. It’s never gone over 65c in my phanteks g500a even with my 200mhz+ core and 2000mhz+ mem overclock. Gain a average of 10fps in bf2042 with that overclock. People complain so much about coil whine with these cards but it’s the normal amount at least on my end. Every single card I’ve ever had has had coil chine. Gtx 960, gtx 1070, rtx 2080s, rtx 3080ti and rtx 4090 all have had coil whine. I’ve never heard a silent card before. So I don’t find it to be a big deal at all. Least of my worry’s. The case fans are louder than the coil whine anyways so in every hear it. But compared to my 3080ti which averages over 400w while in games my overclock with full power limit 4090 averages around 330w in games while giving a massive increase in fps. I was lucky enough to get this card here on Amazon a few months ago for $1,549 ship and sold by amazon. Not a steal by any means but only a few hundred more than my 3080ti and seeing what the prices are now I’m glad I bought it when I did. I went for the cheapest 4090 I could find at that time and in return I got an awesome overclocking card that even the most expensive 4090 can’t even come close to hitting. Extremly happy with this card so far. Update 12/05/23- still working amazing! Had a cable mod cable cause issue that caused black screen and fan ramp up. But new Corsair atx 3.0 power supply with dedicated 12pin fixed that. Cable mod customer service did send a new updated cable with sense pins hidden now but I have lost all faith in that company after this. And I’m not risking my 4090 especially with the prices now! Double what I paid! And with the new Corsair hx1500i my coil whine is pretty much gone. Crazy reduction in coil whine. Never bothered me but when it’s almost gone you tend to notice it. ... show more

  • Monster unleashed RTX 4090
Holy molly this thing is a Power house! Definitely live up to the hype and there’s a noticeable difference between the RTX 4090 and the RTX 3090. Love everything about MSI gaming trio! Is super silent and great cooling, also the look of it is neat! Not to boring and not to Bold, definitely checks all the boxes for me! Gaming at 4K max settings with 140 to 160 FPS is a dream come true for me The only downside is that I couldn’t get this thing at MSRP but o well you have to pay to play . Highly recommend this GPU if you can afford the crazy price. And need the best of the best for 4k gaming ... show more

  • Good graphics card but has noise.
It's very powerful but has a large of coil whine. Just be aware of that if the noise is annoying to you.

  • Beast
Beast. That’s all. Just buy it because you know you want it. Make sure you measure twice and install once. This thing is huge. Running 4K on most games and the fans are relatively quiet when they’re spinning.

  • Simply a beast - great performance for VR
I am primarily a VR gamer so I'm always looking for a few extra frames to make the experience smoother. The 4090 delivers on that front. Compared to the 3090, it gets about 20-30% more frame rates. This is the difference between getting a consistent 45 FPS needed for a smooth VR experience to having spikes that will cause the headset to lag. I've run this in MS Flight Simulator and DCS, both of which are very intensive applications for VR. This card certainly cost a bundle (and difficult to get) but if you are able to get one and pay the premium price for it, it won't disappoint. ... show more

  • Possible Fire Hazard
The card took a while to arrive, when it did it was packaged nice and neat. The card looked as if it was scuffed from the factory on the shroud? I plugged it in to PC and it was working fine until Saturday evening when my PC began to crash randomly. I shut off the PC and readjusted the card to make sure it was seated correctly, turned it back on and immediately smelt burning plastic. Pulled the plug and brought Pc out side and open up the case. Part of the PCIE gold fingers had burned and chipped away! I have never seen anything like it. I wrote this review to let people know of what kind of dangers they may face with these high power cards. Be safe! ... show more
