Needed to remove 2006 Accord sedan door latch screws (JIS #3) to replace the door lock actuator. This was the first manual impact driver I have a purchased and I have to say I am extremely happy with the quality of it it did the trick it broke free screw I was having trouble removing that had blue loctite on it and although I can't compare it to others it's excellent

I bought this so that I could remove the flat head screw that holds the brake rotor in place on my Honda. It works well enough to do that and it isn't very expensive. It seemed to be better made than some of the cheaper ones available on Amazon. It's sturdy enough to last a lifetime of home garage use. It helps to lubricate the cam slide that rotates the head. Also, there is a chance that the direction of rotation will change after an impact, so check it before each strike. I only takes a single strike to loosen the screw, or maybe a 2 or 3 if it's really stuck or you're still finding out how hard you have to hit it. I would up using a 2 lb drilling hammer and a moderate swing to get good results. ... show more

This tool is a must to get difficult screws or bolts out without ruining the heads without stripping the heads of Philip head screws or regular screwdriver nuts. You can put sockets on it too to get stubborn nuts out. I have used it in many applications and it works Great.
