This is a very good chair - especially for the price. You do need to assemble it but it is very easy to do so. The instructions are clear and everything you need to assemble the chair is included. It's not a long process it only has a few steps. It is the most comfortable chair I have tried in this price range. The bottom/cushion is good. I work 11-hour days and most of the time I'm sitting in this chair, and my butt feels fine. Nothing special about it but nothing to complain about either. The back of the chair is curved. It provides decent back support to me. It's better than my old chair so I'm happy. One thing I should mention about this chair is that the chair may not be good for bigger people. I am 5ft 9in and 195lbs. The arm rests on the chair are narrower than other chairs I've tried. I fit fine, I mean my body doesn't touch the arm rests when I sit in it, but just barely. If I were any bigger, I think I would have a problem fitting in the chair. Also, I'm used to just jumping into my old chair. My old chair had arm rests too, but it was wider. I can't really do this very well with this chair. Sometimes my butt hits the armrest, so I have to grab the chair and maneuver it around so I can sit in it. Not that big a deal, but there it is. There is a way around it however. You can just not install the arm rests if you want. Besides that, this chair is a fantastic chair. Exceptional considering the price. I am very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

Bought this chair and it arrived on time, put it together excitedly b/c I had been without a desk chair for a week or so since my old one had bit the dust and was happy to be back to normal. I had it about two days and one of the castors snapped somewhere on the inside so that the wheel stayed in place but you could no longer put any weight on that particular area or the wheel would not support the chair any longer and you would lean enough to fall out easily if you were not ready to catch yourself. I was well within my return period but did not want to go through the hassle of dismantling, repackaging and sending the chair back, and this was mandatory for both of my return options which were a replacement chair or a refund of my money. So, I reached out to the seller via Amazon with fingers crossed and explained the situation and provided them with some photos of the damage. They responded VERY quickly and agreed to my request to just send me a replacement castor so I could replace the broken one. As I had hoped, they did not just send one castor either but a sleeve of five just like you receive when you purchase a chair initially. They also shipped them out quickly and provided me with tracking information. So with minimal back and forth they were very helpful and efficient with correcting my issue, I appreciate their customer service very much. The chair itself is exactly what you would expect from a $40 chair, it could be more comfortable and ergonomic and this and that but it is now stable, provides decent back support and raises/lowers easily. Plus, I have four extra wheels now in case the overall quality of them proves to be an ongoing issues. I have had the chair over a month now though since I received the replacement wheels and have had no further issues whatsoever.

This is a very attractive looking chair. Owning a Herman Miller chair and having had these types of chairs for years, I can not say it's something I expect to last for more than 3 years, if in daily use 5 days / week. All that said this was purchased specifically as a desk chair for someone under the age of 13. They are small, not heavy and it seems like a great first chair. Assembly was not entirely clear, as a matter of fact the directions were misleading (wrong) about attaching the arms. Attach the arms to the seat first (where you rest your bottom) then to the chair back. The rest of the assembly was clear, easy. A guide for usage--I wish that had been included especially for the leaning function and how the up down lever impacts the leaning back function. The fabric--no information is given about fabric care. I suspect it will get dirty. My best guess is gentle soap and water . Comfort--as a full grown adult, after proper assembly, at a good height , with the back locked--firm, good back support. We will see over time but for a younger person under 110 pounds--I think they'll be no issues. Do tighten everything after assembly and after a couple weeks of use. The 3 stars are for 1) misdirected assembly, 2) lack of usage and fabric care directions 3) plastic parts that had imperfections/blemishes (nothing major but they are there)

Chair arrived in pristine packaging and condition! The chair is very comfortable for larger individuals. I weigh 220lbs and it did not make any stress noises whatsoever. It was a very comfortable height for me (5’9”) and my wife (5”). The seat is firm (will last a long time), yet very comfortable. The wheels all roll freely. Overall, I’m very impressed by the design, EXTREMELY easy assembly.

Really great quality chair, I find it comfortable and doesn't cause as much back pain. Easy assembly, my only complaint is the arms of the chair are lower than regular and you'd have to slump in the chair to rest your arms.
