  • Great bass for a beginner
I'm an beginner bassist, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think this bass sounds great and is fun and easy to play. Great bass for somebody with shorter fingers, as the neck isn't super wide. I love this bass!

  • Ibanez 4 string Bass Guitar two thumbs up
I had ordered an Ibanez SR300E SR Standard - Iron Pewter and was pleasantly surprised that the color actually has dark blue undertones - like a dark blue metallic look and all the people in the worship group, in which I play, fell in love with this color. The action upon delivery was surprisingly accurate. The sound quality with the humbuckers and 3 band EQ was a huge improvement over the Ibanez GSR200B that I had been playing. The light color fretboard was initially a shock but after playing with this guitar I am quite happy for the quality with a lower cost and the pros far outweigh any cons. I am not a professional player but very advanced so this guitar is suites me just fine. ... show more

  • Lots of features, none that great.
String buzz prevalent even though string distance from fretboard looked to be at factory specs. E string required frequent adjusting. Nice looking bass, just looks like Ibanez tried to be a jack of all trades in this budget bass guitar, but turns out to be master of

  • Best bang (bass) for the buck
I’ve been playing for 35+ years. I have a $2000 bass, I have a $1500 bass. I prefer to play this one live every time. Fast neck and smooth playability when set up correctly. Get to know your controls and what each one does, and you’re gonna be a rockstar.

  • An excellent entry level bass.
An active bass with light, thin, fast neck, myriad tones availability, all in a fine, well-made, entry level instrument. Great for open-mic nights where you don't want to "knock-about" with the Fodera or F Bass.
