Wow, these pans are awesome. I haven't tried the big brand name pan that sell for 129 or more but I doubt it could be any better. These pans are the best I ever used and yes I did fry a strip steak and it cooks as good as cast iron for searing. The only thing I would improve is the way the beautiful handles are held on by screws instead of rivets. I highly recommend Snow Clad for the high quality and value, once you try these pans you will wish you got them sooner.

I'm an 81 year old widower who cooks most of my meals. I use this frying pan to cook pork chops, scrambled eggs, fried egg, sausage. I've had some success with other non stick frying pans but each one has lost its non stick properties. This thing is better than anything I have ever used. Most of the time, nothing sticks and if anything does. It easily wipes off with just a bit of soap and water. I have used it on an induction cooktop, a new ceramic cooktop and a gas cooktop. Heat distribution is great. It may be just me, but I think the etch on the bottom may cause it to heat up fast on the gas and ceramic cook top. In all cases, it retains its non stick properties. In addition it really is a hefty nice looking frying pan.

I only gave it 4 stars because of two issues. Overall, this is a great pan that performs as well as more expensive Hybrids at a 3rd of the price. Even heating, great heat retention, and good Non-stick. Note: you still MUST use oil with this pan when cooking. It's not a slippery non-stick that you can drop an egg into dry. A little oil is a must. The greatest part of the non-stick aspect is the ease of cleanup. Now the Cons: 1. It is not a 12" skillet. The 12" I replaced this with measure 12.5 in outside diameter. This one measures 11 3/4 outside diameter. 11.0 inside diameter, and has a flat cooking surface (minus the curved walls) of 10.0 inches in diameter. So it's definitely a smaller pan that a true 12". 2. The lid fits a little loose. If you tilt the pan to the right or left more than a few degrees, the lid will slide off. Not a big deal when cooking as the lid seals great while cooking. The problem comes when I try to stow the pan away. The opening to my cabinet where this pan lives is 11 1/4 inches wide, so I have to tilt the pan a little to the right or left to get it to clear the entry and get inside the cabinet. If I am not careful, the lid will slide off and fall to the cabinet floor.

I love how well these things work. I've had no issues with anything sticking. These pans are pretty durable, we have used metal utensils regularly and still have no scratches. To clean, just wipe. I got all 3 sizes and they all preform equally as well.

Imagine how surprised I was to find out that I had to assemble the pan myself. And no matter what you do, you will not get the handle straight. It will be a little crooked. I’m disappointed because I don’t know how sturdy this is going to be, is the handle gonna come off when I use it multiple times How often will I have to tighten the screws up? When I ordered the 10 piece set I had no assembly required. I was tickled pink on that . I ordered the 12 inch skillet and had to put it together. I am so disappointed. I love the pots and pans they do not stick. They are awesome so far although I’ve only had them a few weeks but this one this 12 inch I just got today. Looked forward to it for a couple days. Was all excited to get it and then I had to assemble it. And on the lid, you can clearly see where they put it together not just a little fine line like the others. No, this is a big broad line. I can fill it with my finger. It’s very unattractive. I tried to get a hold of them on customer service sure you can if you download the WhatsApp. I’m not doing that. They should have a customer service phone number a real phone number, but they do not. I sent them an email. I wonder if anyone is even going to reach back out to me I highly doubt it so just so you know the 12 inch skillet assembly is required.

I seasoned it but I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I don’t know why/if that would make a difference but these pans won’t let anything go. I truly wanted to love these but they let me down. I didn’t try metal utensils but I do believe that they would work if on them and you’ll probably need them to scrape all the burnt stuff off.

I sent these as a gift . They are beautiful . However , not mentioned in this product ... The handles need to be attached . They do not come assembled ... They do have a tool to put them together . They are worth it !!!! It would be nice if they had lids that came with them
