The PS21 Independance Stove was installed in a couple of Hours. We replaced a Wood Burning Stove that we had in the same spot for over 15 years. I am pleased with my stove. It's heating my 1500 sq ft home nicely. I have had trouble setting it up to the app for remote use, but trust I'll get it figured out. The first stove I received, unfortunately had to be returned, as there were issues with it smoking. Working with Nathan G, made it easy and he made everything right and replaced it with another one. Having battery back-up is essential and it's the only reason I gave up my wood stove. All around great experience!! Thank You for a business and pellet stove that I can count on!! ... show more

I got this pellet stove to heat 20 x30 add on . It was supper easy to install and adapt to old wood stove chimney. Setting up the controls was supper easy and the remote nice to have . Cool to the touch so don’t have be concerned about little kids when they come over or the dogs touching it . Great product! ... show more

For the most part the stove is very nice. In the owners manual it says the fire power level can be set by the user but, that only works in the two modes where the stove never shuts off. That gets my house too hot. The other two modes where the stove will shut down; it only operates at the highest, absolutely inferno level. If that isn't bad enough, after it does shut down and the stove is very hot. The convection motor speed drops to the lowest level. Not good. So I always have too bump the fan up one or two levels each time the thermostat reaches temperature setting. So much for automatic. I couldn't give it 5 stars because, of the problem in the temperature control modes. The manufacture also said they are not going to fix it. 1/3/2024, I found another problem over the new years weekend. It being colder days; I was trying to run the stove more often but, could not. Found out the stove has too shut down completely before it can be restarted again. That turned out to be a 2 hour period. While waiting for the stove to restart my main house furnace had to operate twice. When the real cold days show up; it's going to be rather pointless even having the stove. I had to reduce the number of stars to three. ... show more

    • Doesn’t come with stove pipe for $2200.??

First of all, for the expensive price of this stove, this should include everything! I.E. stove pipe, stove pipe vent, stove pipe cleaning kit… not impressed upon opening the package and realizing for $2200. This did not include what we needed to start using this like ALL the other similar stoves do. I’ll update my review after one week of using but this was a disappointing start Update after putting it together, many trials and errors later, we’re on week three of using it, and I’m not blown away at all. This is a VERY TRICKY stove. It’s temperamental, sometimes the temperature sensor works and sometimes it’s way off. The pellets burn super hot making the front glass part turn black. There is very little customer service, only email which they are not very responsive to, so far I am not satisfied and I’d warn others to not buy this particular pellet stove. It has far too many issues, there are much better companies with good customer service and a much more superior pellet stove. I Do not recommend. Keep looking and do your research! ... show more

I had a little issue with the temp censer and I contacted PelletHead and Nate took care of me right away! The stove was very easy to hook up and setup. I was burning pellets in just a few hours. It puts out great heat and I really like the different modes it has. I really like the ECO mode as it looks like it will save me money on pellets. One of the other things I liked is there are a lot of videos on you tube on how to setup, start up, program and clean the stove. Nothing better than watching someone do it for you the first time. One last thing, not only does it come with a remote I can use from my lazyboy chair...it comes with WIFI for my phone!!?? WHAT?! Yes, I can adjust the temp, fire height and fans from my appt on the phone. I give this stove a 10 out of a10 and would recommend it and PelletHead so far. ... show more
