We loved this ice maker. We are ice fanatics. We already had a bullet ice maker and it's always a race to the ice machine. We decided to also purchase a nugget ice maker and chose this one. It quickly makes nice nuggets and we were happy. The machine is a little loud, but wasn't intrusive. It worked great until it didn't. It started making a screeching noise. But no worries. We contacted customer service and couldn't have had a better experience. They sent us a postage paid label and we sent it back. They offered a new machine or refund and we wanted a new machine as we really liked the original one. They immediately sent us a new one and it's making great ice. The customer service was stellar and I would highly recommend purchasing from this company.

The ice maker on my refrigerator has been broken for a couple years now. One day, I got tired of making ice cubes manually and searched for a countertop solution. This one came with great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I’m hooked! Things I love about it: - compact and stylish. It fits nicely on my counter beside the fridge and the stainless steel exterior blends in with my other appliances - ease of cleaning. The built in cleaning cycle and drain port make cleaning this unit easy and quick. - speed and quantity of ice. Amazing! The first cubes are made in a matter of minutes and the ice container will fill up in about an hour. I pack any excess ice up in a freezer bag and store. This way I only run the run the unit about 2-3 time a week and have 3 1-gallon zip bags standing by in the freezer. Pro Tip: there have been a lot of complaints about freezing the ice. It does make fairly wet ice. I shake the ice basket well to remove as much water as possible before transferring the ice into a freezer bag. Then about 20-30 mins after sticking it in the freezer, I take it out and smack it on the counter a few times. The ice stays nice and separated this way.

Only lasts a year, the nuggets are very small, the button will sometimes make ice and sometimes and goes in Cleaning mode even if I don’t press Cleaning mode. Spend the full money on a good ice machine because that’s what I ended up doing. Also, it’s a very loud.

Makes excellent ice. Not necessarily quiet but as these go it's not the loudest I've ever had. Overall capacity is kind of small but okay if it's just two glasses of ice needed at a time. Update: I purchased this June 2024. It is now May 2026 . I have done regular cleanings w/vinegar cycles every few months. It is now making a loud squealing noise. Regular cleanings w/vinegar, cleaning out the motor with an air compressor, and even oiling it. It's now beyond repair and will have to be replaced. So durability = 2 years

I received my ice maker today and have had it on and making ice for a couple of hours so far! It’s not making piles of ice but enough to replenish my drink and chew on some ice too!! Before now I had been relying on ice melting enough to get soft so it was chewable until my husband found this on TikTok!! So grateful he did because now I csn cut out the melting phase and just go from ice maker to mouth! lol. It’s not quite Sonic fast food ice… but pretty dang good compared to other ice makers Les than $300 out there!! I’ve probably tried them btw!! Huge thumbs up on this one from an ice chewer as though it’s a meal! lol. Seriously chew a lot of ice every day!! Oh and this ice maker produces more ice in 24 hours than other ice makers that don’t say hey make chewable ice so I know that production will improve over the day!! Love that the power button is on the front! For me, it’s easier to reach than when it’s on the top!!

This ice machine is amazing! I ordered it in the stainless finish. It looks nice, is user friendly, and has bright control buttons for making ice, cleaning, informing me when there's a full bin of ice and when to add water. This is my second countertop ice maker and this one is very quiet compared to my other ice maker from another manufacturer. It has a handle to use if I wish to take it somewhere. I can easily see how much ice is in the bin through a transparent lid. The crunchy ice is great! Would I purchase this again? Absolutely!

Loved this ice maker for about 6 months. I only used filtered water, cleaned it, etc. It makes ice pretty quickly and the ice is great, but out of nowhere, it just started making a loud grinding noise and quit making ice. I’ve taken it apart, run multiple cleaning cycles and let it defrost and air dry for days… plugged it back in, it ran great again for a few hours then back to the loud noise and not making ice.

So, we have owned the unit for just over a year, and have been mostly happy with it. It creates a fairly decent amount of ice in a short period of time, and my family loved the size and consistency of the ice it created. Recently though, the unit has begun to randomly make a loud, screeching noise. The closest I can relate to it is when a car or engine has a loose belt. For a short while we go unplug the unit, plug it back in, and it would act normally. But as time has gone on, the loud screeching noise is becoming more and more frequent, and unplugging it has not worked. So, I returned to this page to see if there were any trouble shooting steps I could take, or more hopefully contact the seller, and perhaps diagnose the issue, and maybe order parts to fix the unit. Alas, I find now that every ice maker offered from this company is no longer available. And there are no longer any contact details. The very hard to navigate to support page for the product, leads you to a website that doesnt exist anymore. I'm left feeling that I spent good money on a product that wasnt supposed to last very long, that was sold by a company over a short period of time, with no intention of standing by the integrity of the product or promises of quality made by said seller. Sad to say, this is something I come across more and more on Amazon. Buyer beware, this company has probably just changed its name, and is now offering potentially fault equipment under a new brand name. What a shame.
