  • A most impressive buy for the price point
This little baby works great took all of 5 minutes to get the codes off my car right out of the box. They even have helpful little hints about what might be the cause of the code

  • Great product for my 2003 Hummer H2
Worked exactly as I thought it would. My only beef is that it did not come with the instruction booklet and it appeared to be used as there was other vehicle information already entered in into the saved section The packaging was fully sealed so maybe I'm incorrect in my assumption that it was used there's no damage there's no marks with other vehicle information saved into it it appears as though it is ... show more

  • Terrific Bi-Directional GM Scanner
Over the years, I have had a few different ODBII scanners. I have Bluetooth ELM327 devices, and some different standalone units which have their own screens. What I didn't have, was a device that had advanced bi-directional communication capability. Well, with this FOXWELL NT510 Pro, I now have that capability. I tried this device on a 2020 Silverado, a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT and a 2015 Caprice PPV and it worked great on all of them. It enumerates down through all of the bus connected subsystems and lets you see and control devices. It's amazing how many subsystems that there are on cars! So cool to be able to finally perform diagnostic tests like being able to command a specific relay on. And since it does the crankshaft sensor relearn and other things, it will save me have to pay a shopt to do more advanced things. I haven't tested the battery test part of this device yet, but I'm really impressed with the ODBII side of things. It looks like it will even let me change the TPMS low pressure limit value on the caprice, which is something I may have to do if I change wheels and tires. This is an advanced device and you have to really dig through the menus to find things sometimes, but I'll take the extra complexity for the advanced features. As a GM car guy, I'm so glad to have the capability that this device offers. It even comes with a nice storage case which fits the cables it comes with. The instructions say to not power it via the USB-C and ODBII port at the same time, so that's something to watch out for. I think it will scan normal ODBII stuff on other brand cars, but the advanced features are only available for GM vehicles. ... show more

  • Good user interface and fast response times
Very quick user interface and response times, as expected from this brand. I've used a number of Foxwell bidirectional scanners over the years and they've been reliable. This one has a sturdy grey case. The processing power is good as you speed through menus. This particular model includes definitions and updates for GM model vehicles. I would not recommend purchasing this for other car brands even if you can purchase definitions for your model. Just find one for your model or buy one that includes all car brands if your needs are diverse. Easy to read things for the check engine light, which is what most people end up DIY'ing. Can test your battery as well as register new ones. Overall, a very solid value for the money as this includes all GM models. Appropriate for a professional setting as well though I don't see many GM only shops. ... show more

  • It's just okay
It will work for why you're buying it however I can't get the modules to reset. Can't get all the speakers to turn on. Can't get the tpms to sync. It will read and clear codes. If you are knowledgeable with car repair, it will help you diagnose engine issues. I think it will accomplish the same as the cheaper branded units. I was not totally impressed for the price. ... show more
