I purchased this card specifically for my new camcorder and wanted something both reliable and compatible. The 256GB size is perfect. It provides plenty of space for extended recording sessions without being so large that I’d risk losing everything if a card were to fail. SanDisk is a brand I trust, and this card has lived up to that reputation. I’ve recorded multiple sessions in 4K at 60 fps, and the card easily keeps up with the write speed required. Playback and reviewing footage is smooth thanks to fast read speeds. In fact, the only thing that limits me is the camcorder battery, not the card. Recording in 4K at 60 fps, I usually get two to three hours before the battery runs down, and the card still has plenty of room left. It can handle upwards of five hours at that quality (~15+ hours at 1080p @ 60fps), so if you’re filming a kid’s concert, sports game, or family event, you won’t have to worry about storage.
