I got this pitcher for our 5200 Vitamix blender. I've been using it for a week between 1 and 3 times a day and so far, I absolutely love it. I'd go as far as to say I like it better than the official pitcher that came with the blender. I'll be honest. I had my doubts at first because this pitcher is a bit different in design compared to what I usually find when needing to replace our Vitamix pitcher, but I'm glad I ordered it. I do want to mention a couple of things I don't like, but consider minor. These were not deal breakers for me, but I want to include them in case they are for other people. First, I don't like the lid that comes with it. I like the kind that has the two side tabs and this one doesn't have those, making it harder to remove the lid. However, I already have a lid with the side tabs and it fits on this pitcher. The second thing is that the pour spout is more squared off rather than rounded, making pouring go slower unless you don't mind your drink/food spilling over the sides a bit. To be honest, I ended up spilling over the sides a lot with my last pitcher too. As long as I'm pouring into a wide mouth container, it's not a big deal. Now for the good, which I feel more than outweigh the bad. The blending is great. I use our Vitamix everyday to make a huge batch of green smoothies with salad greens, fruit, frozen fruit, dates, and supplement powders. I haven't seen a noticeable difference in blending power. If there is one, it's too minor to bother me. On all my usual blends which mainly include smoothies, guacamole, desserts, it's taking roughly the same amount of time as my old pitcher. The shape design is so smart. When you look down into the pitcher, you'll notice the shape of the bottom resembles a four leaf clover rather than the more square shape of the official brand pitcher. This clover shape has made a world of difference when it comes to both cleaning, and getting your food out of the pitcher. Especially if you have a blender spatula. I was always frustrated in the past at how even with a blender spatula, it was hard to get thick foods out of the pitcher, working around all the sharp angles with a rounded spatula. With the rounded inner corners of this pitcher, it's so much easier. It's so much less angular as a whole. The shape is also what makes it easier to clean. I use the method Vitamix recommends which is filling the pitcher halfway with water and a few drops of dish soap, and then blending on high for 60 seconds. I have found this method very lacking for any pitcher I've had and we always end up taking a sponge and more soap to it after the 60 second wash. Plus all the angular inner edges made it hard to use a soft sponge without being very careful not to poke myself on the blades. The clover shape on this pitcher gives more space to clean the surfaces around the blades without as much chance of getting poked, and I feel like it's easier to make sure I've cleaned every part of the whole pitcher because it doesn't have all the angular nooks and crannies. This pitcher may still end up with the damage and build up that regular use does to plastic blender pitchers. Until Vitamix or a generic brand makes a glass pitcher, it's just something we have to deal with, but I'm hoping the ease of cleaning staves it off for longer than usual with this pitcher. So far, I don't see any build up, but it's only been a week. I also wanted to mention I like the blue green tint to this pitcher. It looks nice in my opinion. Even though I don't yet know the long term durability of this pitcher, I like the design so much that I ordered a second. There's been times when I really liked a product, but could never find it again and I like this pitcher so much, that I would hate for that to happen in this case and I know with our blender usage, we'll be replacing this one at some point in the future. I hope this product stays available for a long time. As long as the price stays fair, I'll be reordering it. If my opinion about this pitcher changes, I'll update my review.

I stripped the bottom gear on my old pitcher and was very happy to find this one as a replacement. I swear it sounds faster than the original vitamix part did and blends very fast. It's great. The blade is nice and sharp too. No complaints there. The color of the plastic is darker than the original, but that doesn't bother me at all. The only negative is the lid. It snaps in place nice and tight, but it's hard to remove. There are no little tabs on the sides of the lid (original part has these) to grab on to for removal. I have to wrestle with it to get the lid off. I guess it's a good thing it seals and does not leak, but there should be some kind of lip or tag to pull on for removal. Overall it's a very good replacement pitcher at a decent price

I recently got an OEM replacement Vitamix pitcher for my 5200, and was disappointed to learn that Vitamix had significantly altered the handle from the original design; you can’t get an official pitcher anymore with the rubber handle that is easy to grip. This MRX Solutions pitcher has the original style handle and is a good looking and working alternative for less cost. It works fine in my 5200, and seems to at least start out more than sufficiently sharp. I don’t know that the blade portion of this pitcher is as good as an OEM blade, but replacement blades are cheap enough that you probably come out ahead anyway. The plastic is solid, strong, and looks nice. I’ll reserve full judgement until we’ve had it a while (my original pitcher lasted 7 years in moderate use) but it looks good so far.

This fits my classic vitamix no issues. The construction of the plastic is clearly cheaper than original. However, my original one cracked pretty badly at the base so I can't exactly say those are of the highest quality. Either way, you can tell the plastic is cheaper which makes me question the quality of the steel in the blade. Of course, one use won't tell a story and it'll take a year or so to see how the blade holds up. After 10 yrs my original blades are still working great.

I have a Vitamin 6300 and this pitcher fits the base perfect! The quality of the plastic is not as high as the Vitamix brand, but it does the job. I made a smoothie using frozen and thawed fruit and it it mixed up well using the smoothie setting. I have been able to make everything that I made with the original container just fine. The lid, I am not a huge fan of, it screws in rather than pushed on top. I was trying to just push it on top while the blender was on, and the lid fell into the container, I am sure it wouldn't have reached the blades, but it was annoying to fish it out. It will just take some getting use to. Overall, great container, great price and perfect way to get an extra container for your Vitamix.

This Vitamix Blender Pitcher was the correct size for one of our most dependable kitchen appliances. Over the years, we have made countless smoothies and wellness products, and this new pitcher allows us to designate it to a specific task. It looks like this pitcher will be around for a long time as the others have. Very easy to clean, it allows us to use our Vitamix as often as needed without any messy clean-up.

You can not tell how long it will last but it looks and performs like the original blender container. It allows me to have a backup. Great value compared to the cost of the brand name container.
