I love the design of this KitchenAid beater! I’ve had to replace so many in the past because they chipped on the sides, but this one solves that problem. No more scraping down the bowl either! I’m so glad someone finally added this to the attachment options.

Same problem everyone else has, It's past the date of return, I compared it to my old one and the hole that the rod part of the mixer part goes into is too short which is why it wont lock into place. Check to make sure it fits. Seller contacted me after my review, explained and made it right. They were very nice about the whole thing. I changed my review from 1 star to 5.

I attempted to use this attachment for the first time. I was very disappointed to find it will not attach to my mixer. While it appears to attach the same as my original part, the part was made with the dimensions off. It is useless. If you have the 4.5 Classic Kitchen aid mixer don't buy this. I am disappointed that it didn't fit and it does specifically say that it will fit. Amazon gave me my money back and now stuck with something I can't use.
