The media could not be loaded. I'm really bummed out with myself for not reading the *entire* description. The product is fine, I'm the dummy. Needed to replace the plastic "no brand-name" scraper beater which broke after 8-yrs of use. I got excited to see a "metal" scraper paddle by KitchenAid! $40?? Yeah, but I use it ALL the time. 4.5 - 5 qt bowl? Yep, 5qt bowl. I'm havin' it!! Got it really quick; thx Amazon! Several items shipped together, tore into each of them and put them away for this week of Christmas baking 😃 Today is "molasses brown bread" day... Well.... my KitchenAid's not a "tilt-head" and I guess that makes a difference, because the beater paddle is an inch and a half too short to reach the stuff I need to mix. It's 6" high - I need a 7.5" paddle. 40 bucks wasted because I tossed the packaging in my excitement. Maybe I know someone with a tilt-head mixer I can give it to 🤔 ... show more

    • It works well.
The rubber on my old beater has warped and it left bands of butter on the side of the bowl. This one does a much better job. The old scraper has rubber on both sides and I wondered if a one-sided beater would work as well. I think it works as well, if not better.
