I have the small 450rpm ratchet (use 80% of the time) and wanted to get this as an extended reach and narrow areas, works great my ONLY compliant was the 1/4 and 3/8 adaptors fall out when taking the sockets off they have new adaptors out that turn to lock the adaptor in place and turn to unlock...if your reading this pay close attention, milwaukee does not warranty any of there products sold on amazon (since they are not their dealer they won't wrranty like home depot is an official milwaukee dealer) so the new adaptors cost 20$ each if you purchased from licensed dealer ie: home depot not amazon milwaukee will send you for free the 2 adaptors with locks under warranty. They ask for serial # of insider tool and purchase receipt. When I first filled out everything they emailed me saying they can't warranty it I would have to purchase them since amazon wasn't official dealer. When I called 1800SAWDUST and talked to a representative they said they would accept it but normally they don't for amazon purchases, so 2 things to remember when buying this item 1. don't buy warranty since milwaukee won't warranty amazon puchase...but will warranty their tool loophole warranty free from milwaukee from purchase date. 2. Try to fill warranty from milwaukee website to get free insider locking 1/4 and 3/8 adaptors they will ask for serial # of tool and copy of receipt from Amazon 75% tine they will send it out as a courtesy from the company since you did purchase their product if they don't just call them and let them know you had no info of that knowledge and they will 99% send you the set free of charge when it comes down to it the company understands you purchased their product and out of courtesy will send because their website tells you where to buy from official dealers which amazon isn't So its frowned upon but they will still take care of you just don't waste $ on amazon warranty as it does nothing I ng in their eyes all this info the representative told me hope this helps others as I seen complaints about the adaptors falling off when taking socket off ... show more

As per Milwaukee, it's an awesome useful tool. I have had NO need to buy neither the 3/8 or 1/4 ratchets while owning this tool. Shipping fast but I'm still having issues w/ the delivery instructions not being followed.

    • Works great, but worth considering the standard model.
Great tool, but the "Insider" model is likely not worth the premium over the standard one unless you're working on only SAE or Metric bolts, as Torx, Hex, E Torx, and other bits will have you using the 1/4" or 3/8" adapters anyways, which make this the same size as the regular model.

Great powered ratchet. I love it! I had previously purchased a cheaper one but it had no torque whatsoever. Basically worthless. This Milwaukee electric ratchet is great. Lots of torque. I use it all the time.

This ratchet has worked very well for me as a diesel technician the only downside I have seen in the past 3 to 4 months of using it has been the insider 3/8 socket getting when removing sockets. The battery lasts a decently long time and charge is very quickly. It has good torque, the length of it allows you to get in easier and the fact you can put sockets on either side make it versatile. ... show more

I got this for a good price since I couldn’t find it in HD. The pass thru sockets make things so much easier. I would purchase the protective boot to cover the head of the tool. Something to know is that this doesn’t come with the Milwaukee INSIDER Box Ratchet 1/4" Anvil Adapter or the 3/8 adapter. Milwaukee normally send it out for free as a warranty replacement but if you order on Amazon they consider as a 3rd party and will not ship it out for free. I had to purchase the adapters separate so keep that in mind ... show more
