The meat grinder comes with everything you need, and the slicer/shredder makes cheese and veggies go so fast. It really makes the mixer feel like an all-in-one kitchen tool instead of just something I pull out for baking. I really love that I don’t have to get preshredded cheese anymore that’s loaded with chemicals and I can just do it myself! Pros: - Fits the KitchenAid perfectly, no issues - Feels solid and well made - Meat grinds smoothly and evenly - Shreds and slices cheese and veggies super fast - Nice variety of blade sizes Cons: - Most parts need to be hand washed - Cleanup takes a few extra minutes compared to fully dishwasher-safe attachments - The parts are all oddly shaped so it’s a bit of a pain to store Honestly, this is one of those attachments that actually earns its storage space. I love being able to grind my own meat and shred cheese in seconds without dragging out extra appliances. If you cook from scratch or like doing things a little more homemade, this set is such a win. It’s been super handy and feels like it’ll hold up really well over time.

The attachments work well, easy to clean, and saved us some money. We often buy meat directly from local farmers 1/2 a cow at a time. We cut some of the less desirable tips, ends, and more into thin strips and make our own ground beef. We made a little over 5 lbs of ground beef this day for a little under $3 per pound. No additives, dies, or chemicals added to our ground beef like store bought ground beef. We just season to taste when cooking.

For the most part this works great! I will say that trying to grind the smaller holes was not successful. But the bigger grind worked and ended up being fine for my sausages. It seems durable and easy to clean. I did get have some issues with a vapor lock when grinding and I feel like the pusher stick should have a bit of a flared handle at the end to aid in removing. It’s plastic and when it gets greasy it is really difficult to pull out.

This is a very nicely packaged set. The pieces were wrapped in plastic and sit in a plastic tray inside the box. I'll be able to keep them stored in the box instead of being loose. I used the meat grinder the same day I got it and found the instructions easy to follow. I'm very pleased with this product!
