Definitely stainless
I needed stainless steel to mix hydroponic nutrients. Anything galvanized just corrodes when mixing acidic nutrient salts. This hasn't corroded at all and is just as shiny as the day it arrived. The plastic part was kind of a pain to remove but running it under hot tap water loosened it up enough to take off. ... show more

Perfect for my application needs... even if it is not stainless steal but galvanized steal...
For short period use in stone fruit that has been frozen and thawed, this is the perfect tool on low speed to puree without shattering or breaking into bits the stones and puree the fruit at the same time. No more making mash, must or other puree products for either jams, pressings for juice and having to remove stones by hand. Works VERY well with 'freestone' fruits or semi-free stone fruits. Works OK but takes longer, with stones that have flesh adhesion, but works never the less on low speed and takes 2-3 times longer. But it works well for this application. ... show more

Smaller & lighter than expected.
I agree is is on the small side & by the way it does not weigh much either.. I almost thought the box was empty. As for the comments regarding that California warning label about chemicals.. just be aware if you were selling water, I think you'd need to put that label on it... LOL Seriously though.. Stainless steel contains Chromium metal which is why it does not rust. Free Chromium is considered carcinogenic. This chromium is bound up with iron to form stainless steel & should not poise much risk. Bot since it contains chromium.. Calif demands to warning label. ... show more
