I’ll try to keep this short, and I’ll update as time goes by. Purchased at the end of May 2024. The install was a 3/5 in difficulty (5 being hardest), there are no instructions other than a wiring diagram. The head unit is plug and play and steering wheel controls work. I used a YouTube video from “carmaspeed” on a 2012 Camry. The install is the exact same. It took me a couple hours overall but none the less it was straightforward utilizing the YouTube video. For the back up camera I looked up a separate, random video on that install. Also not that hard but you’ll need to do a bit of wiring yourself for that. I recommend splice connectors to make it easier. Overall I recommend this product but longevity is unknown. I’ll update after some time.

I’ve had it for about 9 months in my 2014 Toyota Camry SE. Installation was straight forward. The only thing I needed to buy was a new USB cable as the one provided did not fit with my factory connections. It seemed like a manufacturing issue since there was an extra piece of plastic on the connector. Not a big deal. Bought a USB adapter cable for a few bucks and it connected with no issues. Steering wheel connections work fine. Connection with Bluetooth and wireless Apple CarPlay have been great. It has only disconnected a couple times in almost a year but restarting the unit fixed it instantly. I’ll update my review if anything changes, but this was absolutely worth it and I highly recommend it to other Toyota owners.

So far I am very satisfied with this Android Radio head unit. 1. It was straight forward to install. Before attempting the install myself I viewed several YouTube videos. It took me about 2 hours for the install including the backup camera. 2. The unit looks great in the dash and gives a modern feel to the interior. The screen is large and the touch response is good. 3. What I most like is that the head unit displays tire pressure and fuel economy like the factory unit. This was important as monitoring tire pressure can be a safety issue. The documentation does not mention this but it does retain this feature. 4. Wireless Android Auto works great. I have access to all of my car apps for streaming like Pandora, iHeart radio, etc The only thing I dont like is that its hard to see the screen in direct sunlight. Other than that it was a nice upgrade over the factory unit and I recommend it to others looking to upgrade over the favor radio. I installed this in a 2012 Toyota Camry XLE with the standard sound system.

The media could not be loaded. It really don't fit, overlapping the air conditioner control. Got to turnoff Bluetooth to connect to WiFi. Value for money is great. Some connections at the back it does not have a connection, those 2 optic wire, was thinking if it’s the headboard speaker. Everything turns off when you reverse, not sure if I could change the set up. For now I’ll give 3 star for its value. But will see with longevity.

The media could not be loaded. Let go through the issues first. 1. Bluetooth streaming will stop playing audio if you get out then back into the Bluetooth app. Your phone still stream just NO SOUND COMING OUT OF THE HEAD UNIT. Also, the steering wheel control for skipping track will only work if you have Bluetooth app running on the foreground, not in the background. 2. Sent email to product support regarding no audio issue via Bluetooth streaming and no responses. I HAVE FOUND A WORK AROUND BY ACCIDENT. APPARENTLY, THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH ANDROID AUTO THAT TETHERED THE BLUETTOTH DEVICE DURING A CONNECTION TO ACESS INTERNET. THIS FEATURE TURNED ON THE Wi-Fi. It will allow you to stream from Bluetooth as long you gone get out of the app when it started. You will not have skipping track control from steering wheel buttons. If you happen to get to Bluetooth app to control your music, you will need to turn off WI-FI connection then you'll able to stream from Bluetooth connection again. 3. By 3rd and 4th days (temperatures was in 94 degree F) into using the device, it had major glitches. The unit would randomly open apps, making phone call and constantly switching back and forth like having ghost on the machine. Factory reset the device, but failed to resume normal. This issue was enough to convince me returning the product. I'm glad it had happened within a 30 days return windows. Installations: it seems straight forward except you need to give yourself enough hours to to take apart and putting the unit back on. I did run into one issue with one harness from the car that didn't have anything to connect to in the head unit. I left it out but seems to be functioning just fine without it. The appearances blend well in the car. There is a bit of imperfections, there will be minimal gap showing on the top trim. I really like this unit to work. It took a half day to install and test everything. It was a big upgraded improvements from stock unit.

This was a b*tch to install. Took two tries to get all the wiring to work correctly. It does work really well now, but it was a chore to install if you are doing it yourself. I recommend using YouTube to find out how to wire everything correctly. Sometimes the bluetooth doesn't connect if you are trying to connect a new phone. It does look great in the car, so overall pleased with this.
