This isn't a bad treadmill, but it is a bit small and has some odd bits. If you are over something like 5'9", you'll be too tall for it. I'm 6'1" and I'm much too tall for it. The pictures show the handles clear up by the guy's chest. That guy is 5' tall at best then. He may actually be shorter than that. The handles are so short that the most comfortable way I can find to hold them is by holding my arms straight down, and holding the bottom of them with the tips of my fingers. The handles are about 31" above the walking area on the treadmill, that's considerably below my waist. That guy would actually be about as tall as my belly button. So, that's some poor photoshop. It comes packed very well. It's both hard and soft packed. Meaning, there's thick cardboard on the outside to protect it, and then Styrofoam on the inside to protect it further. It came completely undamaged. Assembly is easy. It's 99% assembled out of the box. You just unfold it and put in the thumb screws. The thumb screws are a little fiddly to align, but it's not terrible. First thing I noticed was the typo on the screen. Distanoe? You mean distance? Can't even proofread what you're going to print on the treadmill itself? That doesn't fill me with hope here. It needed lubed before anyone even used it. It was quite squeaky out of the box. Lubing it isn't all that difficult and it does come with some oil. I decided that I would test this thing before I let any other members of my family near it. So, I turned on Casino Royale and stayed on the treadmill until the credits rolled. It worked just fine the whole time. I'm about 220, so I'm below the weight limit, but not by much. One issue I discovered is that if you pause it, it erases your workout awfully quickly. I just went to fill a water bottle because powerwalking for hours made me thirsty, and everything was zeroed out a couple minutes later when I came back. 5mph is barely powerwalking for me. I guess it would be running if you're as short as the people in the pictures. This feels sturdy enough for all the powerwalking you could do, but I'm not sure about running anyway. The emergency shutdown strap works well. It immediately stops the treadmill as soon as it is disconnected. Usually, when you stop the treadmill, it slowly comes to a stop. I didn't bother with the programs. I pressed the P button, but nothing happened, and the manual is useless, so I just ignored it. It's not difficult to move around, and it certainly folds flat enough to slide under something like a bed, so it could be nice in a bedroom if you're a bit on the Lilliputian side. Can you use this if you are over 5'9"? Well, it depends on how you use the handles. If you lean on them, absolutely not. You'll be entirely too hunched over. If you just kind of keep your fingers on them to balance yourself, then you'll be sort of fine. ... show more
