worked for what we needed it for (couldn't find a twin metal frame bed with a trundle whose support bars were 3 inches apart or less, so we bought this to provide the support. Relly no assembly required. I would have been happier with something thicker but that is just personal preference

My mattress slipped like crazy! If you leaned on the bed for any reason, the whole mattress moved. I tried both sides facing (grip and non-grip) toward the mattress with no change. Returning this product came with its own challenges.
