I had a rocky start when I first got my bike. I opened it and the instructions say that the first thing to do is check that all the parts and hardware are in the box. The bag with the hardware only had 2 screws and 2 washers but the parts list said that there were supposed to be dozens of screws, nuts, and washers. I stopped right there, packed it up, and requested a replacement bike thinking all the hardware was missing. I got another bike and they picked up the first bike- and the same thing. Just a couple screws and washers. I wrote to Dispank customer service and they said to have that bike returned and they send me another bike. When I opened it- the hardware situation was the same. I was frustrated. I wrote to Dispank customer service again and they were so patient and understanding with me. They told me that most of the hardware comes ALREADY INSTALLED on the bike to ease assembly. Boy, did I feel foolish! I got only as far as checking the contents of the box for all the dozens of screws, washers, nuts and the whole time they were right there- already screwed into where they belonged! That is really thoughtful of Dispank to make it easy for us. When I learned the hardware was already there, I had the bike assembled and ready to ride in an hour! It was so easy. I'm not strong and had no problem assembling this once I learned all the hardware was already installed. The only hardware that was not installed was the screws and washers for the seat. So, if anyone is like me- and you make sure all the parts are accounted for before starting to assemble something- take my word for it- the hardware is all there! Dispank put it on the parts for you already and it really does make assembly easy. I have one suggestion for Dispank: On the parts inventory list of the instructions put a notation next to the hardware that is already attached to the parts so people know not to look for it in the box. Knowing that would have saved me a bunch of time and frustration. Luckily, the customer service for this product is top-notch! They really came through on getting me a new bike and explaining things to me. They responded within a couple of hours. It was the best customer service I ever got from an Amazon seller! About the bike: It is so sturdy! I love the comfy seat and backrest. It is also super quiet. You can't hear it at all! The pulleys for the upper body are smooth and quiet also. The bike folds up and can be rolled out the way. Perfect for my tiny apartment! It is the best bike you can get for the money. I highly recommend it!! ... show more

I am a 71 year young women and I had no trouble putting this together. I seems to be very sturdy and the bike peddles smoothly. Alot of people complaint about the peddles clicking mine are great no noise. It is very quiet. I gave it four stars as the little monitor that came with it I cant seem to turn it off. Pros: - Inexpensive. Good starter bike for those that fear they might not stick with an exercise regimen. - Pedal resistance is smooth and quiet. - Good workout. Resistance "bands" (actually shock cord) let you work the upper body while peddling. - Portable. Folds and rolls away if you need the floor space. - Sturdy frame. I am pretty rough on equipment and mine is still standing. Cons: - Badly designed pulley system: Resistance bands fray and have to be replaced regularly. - Petal tension adjustment is clunky. - Tablet holder covers the digital display. - No cup holder! - Display is pretty crude; one stat at a time - Heart rate monitor is very inaccurate. The DISPANK's best feature (IMHO) - what sets it apart from other exercise bikes - is the resistance "bands". These are actually 5/16" shock cords strung through a pulley system to allow you to do "pulling" upper body exercises (rowing, lifts, etc.) while you pedal. Sadly, the pulley system is badly flawed (see photo): the upper pulley allows scraping and the shock cord soon frays and has to be replaced. Replacing the worn shock cord is little more difficult than assembling the bike. And you can purchase suitable shock cord here on Amazon. But this is a pretty serious flaw if you are not inclined to be "handy". Although the DISPANK's pedal device is very smooth and quiet, adjusting tension is troublesome. Adjusting up works ok but down "sticks". To turn the tension down one increment you must go down 3 and up 2. A little annoying. In addition, my bike came with a "flat" bearing on the right pedal that knocks with every down-stroke. DISPANK's advert (see photo) claims of customer service are unrealized - I can find no warranty service contacts or replacement parts info. The electronics are pretty primitive. I had better in the 1980s. The heart monitor is REALLY poor but, to be fair, I have yet to find any hand/wrist worn device that can accurately track your heart rate while highly active. And NO CUP HOLDER??? Wow. Big miss! Well, the good news is, Clicgear makes a nice one for golf carts that will do nicely (see photo). I have had my DISPANK for 3 months now. I do a 25 minute workout every morning on it. I hope to find a replacement right pedal, someday. And engineer a solution for the fraying shock cord so I don't have to replace it every couple months. But I doubt that I will "buy up" until I pedal this thing to pieces. Despite it's many deficiencies, the DISPANK is solid where it counts, and an effective work-out platform. And the price makes it a low risk investment. If you are considering starting a fitness regimen, this is a good start. ... show more

I miss my old bike but it was wore out. This one has an uncomfortable small seat but a thick folded towel fixed that and the backrest from my old bike fixed that. My concern is the clicking sound on the left pedal. The sound doesn’t bother me but I’m hoping it doesn’t mean that it soon break
