I do not usually leave a review but I felt it might be helpful to seniors in particular. I’m a 79 yr old female with a knee replacement last September. I’m 5’5” and weigh 170. Not a light weight. I bought this inexpensive bike to work on my knee. Recumbent bikes at gym were a bit too strenuous. I have this one on the lightess tension but it can be adjusted has my knee strengthens. My husband assembled it so I can’t comment on the ease. All parts were there. Easy to get on and seat and back support are comfortable.     • Does not accommodate height
I purchased this bike to help me rehab after extensive hip repair surgery. I am 5'6. I have the seat, on this exercise bike, at the highest setting and it is not high enough for me! If it were I'd have given a rating of 5 stars. Though I had a few hiccups setting it up, I finally got it together in about 2 hours. For the cost, it is a very sturdy unit. The pedals move very smoothly and while riding there is virtually no noise. I can watch tv while exercising without adjusting the volume. If there were a way to get a higher seat , I'd be 100% satisfied. Until then, I'll have to resort to only using it as a recumbant exerciser, which doesn't make me completely happy. ... show more

Assembly was straightforward with very good instructions. After one day of operation the display unit broke down. One email to the support group mentioned on the manual was sufficient to obtain a replacement unit in very short time. The media could not be loaded. We just got this bike built and so far it’s amazing! Not very easy to assemble as some parts don’t exactly fit correctly, but nevertheless we were able to build it in about 2 hours. If you’re not great at building stuff, get some help. However I love the bike, it’s incredibly easy to use, and I love the added resistance bands! More than just a bike! ... show more

    • the electronics do not work
Well, the company got ahold of me because the electronics didnt work.. I was told that I would get a replacement within 4 days.. that was almost two weeks ago,,,,I still have no new electronics!

    • I put it together and I'm not impressed
Not impressed. I put the bike together. It has perfect tools, but there was one nut missing. It takes a while to put together because the nuts and bolts to tighten pieces together are in tight constricted spaces when using the hex wrench and Philips screw driver. The instructions look tricky because the illustrations look a little confusing. After putting it together taking my time the adjustment knob to adjust the bike is extremely hard...hard lining up and too tight and heavy and I followed instructions. Also the worst part is the cheap plastic monitor that doesn't have an on off switch. The instruction manual doesn't describe its function and it runs on two double A batteries. The settings don't really work and the monitor is not dark enough. Again, I followed instructions. A cell phone doesn't fit on it. Even though the parts are tightened, the seat pad isn't very comfortable. So I have to buy a seat cover cushion. Ugghhhh. ... show more

The quality is strong and not cheap. It works great and, most of all, perfect size! I highly recommend it. Fast delivery and great price. I'm thinking of buying another one for my teens.
