When I first opened the Rayban 3025 Aviator sunnies bought from Your Vision for a bargain 165 bucks, I was skeptical they were in fact real authentic Italian sunnies. Perhaps they aren't authentic. However, a knowledgeable man at Pearl Vision, my local "official" Rayban dealer, believes the sun glasses I bought here at Amazon are in fact the real deal. Real "enough", I can say with honesty, absolute. My silver Rayban 3025 Aviator glasses have the following attributes: 1. They rattle a bit when you shake them--the nose pieces are loose. The pair of 3025 Aviators for $209 plus tax at Pearl Vision rattle just as much. 2. They have a stiffness to their hinges, something I first assumed was the 2nd giveaway they were fakes. The same Pearl Vision pair was stiff to open and stiff to close. 3. There is engraved text on the top of the bridge. This fact was something the internet says is a clear giveaway for a fake--as the "real ones do not have lettering on the top bridge bar". Those at Pearl Vision have writing exactly like those I bought for $165 dollars. It seems at least about Rayban fakes, the internet appears to be wrong. 4. The other signs, nose piece RBs, a high quality logo on the top left of the right lenses, and an etched NOT PAINTED RB on the perfectly centered right. Mine have a crisp RayBan logo in white, RBs on each nose piece, and a careful RB scratch in the glass--just like Pearl Vision's pair. I am still not 100 percent the Raybans I bought from the "Your Vision" vendor here at Amazon are truly honestly real RayBans. For I did not pay the price one is "supposed" to pay for such luxury. However, I would say they look great, feel great to wear, and passed all but the "box barcode" test at Pearl Vision. Yes, the barcode would not scan at all. Like I said, I'm not 100 sure they are Raybans. But they're Rayban enough.

After 3 years of careful use, my $75 Serengetti's with plastic lens are covered with short fine scratches and I feel like it affects the crispness of my vision when driving and trying to read distant signs. My 3 year old RayBan's with glass lenses show three or four eighth inch long fine scratches and my vision is much, much crisper. But my old RayBan's are 58 mm... and I wanted a pair a bit bigger at 62 mm... they came in 2 days, the RayBan logo matches perfectly, old vs. new... the 58 mm weight 1.05 ounces... the new 62 mm weighs 1.27 ounces, so they are glass, they absolutely are genuine RayBans. Also, the Serengetti's lost a screw, a pain to find a replacement, and RayBans have never lost a screw.

I can't seem to adjust them right no matter how much I try. They're constantly falling down my nose. Not sure if I just haven't figured it out or if it's because they're a bit heavy and they're going to slide no matter what.
